On August 22, 2024, the person from Oasis Appliance Repair Services came to my house and repaired my gas range oven. On December 13, 2024, which is less than four months, my gas range oven began not working again. I contacted Oasis, but he was out of town and I had to wait about 10 days before he came to my house to repair it. On December, 23, 2024, he came to my house and repaired my gas range oven again. After he repaired it, I asked him for a little bit of discount of the service charge because the oven became out of order in less than four months since he repaired it. But he would not give me any discount, not even a single dollar discount. He asked me to pay the service in full cost.
When I was going to write a check, he insisted me to pay with cash. Then I told him I could write a check so that he could cash the check right away at the bank a few blocks away. However, he insisted me to pay with cash only. It seemed like he didn’t want to pay tax. Because he kept insisting me to pay cash only, I drove to the bank and his car followed me. At the bank ATM, I withdrew cash and paid him the full labor cost with cash. He is unprofessional, so I am not satisfied with his work at all.
