UPDATE Sept 2025: Jerry to the rescue again! Our Kenmore washer quit spinning properly and Jerry not only diagnosed the exact issue, whereas technicians from other services were going to replace numerous parts that didn't need replacing, but he fixed it in under an hour! Not only did he look at our washer, he did a deep look at our dryer intake vent and cleaned it out so we're back in business! Working with Jerry is the most cost-effective service we have ever had. I don't know what we would do without Jerry but I know we'd waste a lot of money on other providers. THANK YOU, Jerry! We are grateful for your professional service and amazing, quick response time! Original review: When our beloved Kenmore washing machine quit working, we started looking for new appliances and were dismayed at the options. We turned to looking for used appliances and went in-person to Jerry's store to see what they had. A great selection and Jerry was there to speak with us. We mentioned our broken Kenmore and asked if he could come to our home to fix it -- in Richmond! Jerry said yes and we could not have been more appreciative. Jerry came by today (two days after we stopped by) in the window he said he would and very quickly diagnosed the problem as something much more affordable than a different company's repair tech had proposed. We are so grateful to Jerry for coming out here and fixing our washer quickly and professionally! 60 day warranty on the work as well

I was having a difficult time finding a Dryer with a drop-down door and he had three!! Stock is always changing, so you never know what you might find! And if not exactly what you’re looking for, try again the next week! He offered us a much older, more haggard Kenmore for $150 and a different Kenmore and a Whirlpool for $240. We chose the 2017/2018 Used Whirlpool for $240. We got lucky! I can’t say enough about how great Jerry is. He listened to all of my wants (and complaints about the dryer my landlord supplied that was leaking gas). He really knows his stuff! He could tell what was wrong with the old one, but it would cost more than even a new dryer to replace the part! He can also do repairs! We went to the store in the afternoon and had the installation the next morning!! For only $40, he delivered from Hayward to Oakland, up a five-step walk-up porch, did full installation (supplying the tape), and took away the old one!!! All by himself! I had removed the bathroom and laundry room doors to fit the machines through and he even offered to put the doors back for me!! The dryer started making a noise the second time I used it and he came out the next day and fixed it (it was an easy alignment fix). No fuss! Miguel also works with him, but in the window of time I dealt with him (~ a month), Jerry was a one-man show! Working solo! So yes, when we first came by the shop, it was closed as he was out on a delivery. We tried some other places and were not enthused, so we came back and he was open! I had tried the shop landline, but never got through to a person or received a call back from my voicemails. You’ll want to call/text Jerry’s cell. Thanks much, Jerry!

I'm not in that habit of leaving negative reviews, unfortunately I feel something needs to be said. I recently purchased from this company a Whirlpool refrigerator freezer to be placed in my garage. I spent $250, which is not much, but meanwhile on Facebook marketplace there were lots of units available. I felt though I'd rather give somebody who has a business the business so he can keep his operation going and there would be some type of quality control on the item that I purchased. They have a 30 day guarantee and in 25 days it stopped working and I quickly had to transfer some expensive food items into other places so they would not go bad. I called two different times to both numbers on the receipt no one picked up no one called me back. I then made the decision at this stage of my life, that i would just buy a new one which i did from home depot. I got charged $50.00 to haul away the piece of junk that I purchased from Jerrys. I guess what aggravates me the most is I tried to do the right thing and ended up being the totally wrong thing.

Attention to detail & great quality appliances with reasonable & fair prices. Very professional & he makes you feel comfortable. He & coworker Miguel delivered 2 heavy refrigerators & an oven up 1 flight of stairs without a dolly!

I told Jerry that I'd give him a review after he repaired our washer, and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My washer quit working the weekend before Memorial day, wouldn't pump out the water after washing. So, with the holiday coming, my fiance decided to hit the "big box" stores to see what we could find, as our landlord told us the unit wasn't part of our apartment (a previous tenant left it there). I won't go into the lack of help there, that's for another review. Unable to find anything that would fit in our space, I decided to look for used appliances/repairs, and am I glad I did! I stopped in, and there was a unit that was an upgraded version of the one we have; only $500! Unfortunately, our apartment is only wired for 110, not 220 like most appliances these days. Told Jerry what the problem was with our machine, and set up an appointment for this morning. He called to let me know he was on his way, and showed up 15 minutes later, wearing a mask (which I really appreciated) and took a look at our machine. He found the problem in about 5 minutes (broken switch), and said he'd have to get the part as he didn't have one with him. He left and was back in about half an hour, replaced the switch, and even moved the unit back inside and hooked it back up for me (my fiance had moved it outside, thinking we'd be able to replace it immediately). I tipped him generously and am beyond grateful for his help. I will definitely call him if I have any appliance needs in the future.
