I’ve been a customer of Reid’s Appliances for over a decade and have purchased at least 12 products from them, including a $20,000 refrigerator just last year. That history apparently means nothing. I spent $3,000 on an ice maker that worked exactly once. It made a single batch of ice and then failed immediately on its first drain cycle. Completely unusable. When I contacted Omar, the sales manager, to request a refund or replacement, his response was essentially that because it “made ice once,” it technically worked, so there was nothing he could do. it felt like an excuse to avoid taking responsibility for a defective product. The only option offered was a vague promise of a service call at some undefined point in the future. No date. No timeframe. No urgency. No accountability. After years of loyalty and tens of thousands of dollars spent, this is how they handle a clear failure: stall, deflect, and leave the customer holding the bag. I won’t be doing business with Reid’s again.

Reid’s staff were outstanding, as always, in our purchase of a Wolf range. Just as with our purchase of a Sub Zero refrigerator and a Miele dishwasher last year, the folks at Reid’s explain the product, provide options and expedite the delivery. Great organization; we highly recommend Reid’s.

I’ve been a customer for Reid’s for a very long time. Omar was a great sales guy, he asked the right questions and was very knowledgeable. He really helped us to compare products and pick the ones that met our needs and budget.

Starting at Reid’s with Simon was excellent. Edgar, Erik and Fernando showed up at my doorstep to install my appliances as promised. Wonderful experience. Everyone was friendly, polite and professional. Very happy with my new washer and dryer. I highly recommend this team at Reid’s.

After recently moving to SB I wanted to shop local for a w/d. I bought a full sized stackable from Reid's but when they delivered it, the install crew thought it was too big to be functional in the space. I appreciated that they took it back and offered a replacement, but the only replacement they offered to me is a piece of junk. It's already broken after about ten loads (see pics of the broken handle and duct-taped door) and the dryer leaves clothes wrinkled. So now after spending $1,850 I spend MORE time doing laundry, including more ironing, than going to the laundromat. I asked if Reid's would take it back and refund me but they haven't responded to that request.
