Ron helped me with selecting a TV antenna to place outside my house a week ago, and he was at the store when I picked it up this evening. Ron was very helpful throughout. I was in awe every time - till this antenna purchase - when I walked in with my list of project needs, and found EVERY thing that I needed. I guess I understand not having TV antennas in stock. I have not shopped for kitchen sinks at this Ace, so I’m not sure if they are stocked (yet). I read a recent review about your store not having a bike rack for customers. I second that: I live about a mile away. The one time that I biked to your store, I asked if I could bring my bike inside (because it cost several times more than my first used car), and the cashier quickly said Yes. Thank goodness, right? I’m pretty sure that some other local customers would like to bike up to your store to shop, but not having a sturdy, safe and convenient bike rack is not helping anybody. Thank you!

They have saved me on several occasions when I did not have time to wait for an online order, and their prices are on par as well. I've found items ranging from a furnace flame sensor to a wrench and pipe dope for the kitchen sink. Their inventory is quite extensive, featuring a nice selection of paint and garden utilities, and they even fill propane tanks. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they offer a military discount."

Lori is incredible, as is the manager Jami. Quite frankly, I don't think I've ever met somebody at the Austin Bluffs Ace that wasn't great. I have been going to that Ace for quite a while and have even had friends of mine tell me that Ace is more expensive than some of the other stores. Well, you get what you pay for. The customer service is so great I don't even consider going elsewhere. And I'm doubtful that the pricing is that much different. I purchased a Weber Searwood XL from them and not only did they put it together for me, but they also delivered it to my house. That is what customer service looks like! Thank you guys so much! Look forward to doing business for many more years.

Austin Bluffs Ace ROCKS! I have been going to this Ace since it opened and have never been disappointed! Today was no exception. I went in, looking a little lost (my go-to look in a hardware store!) and was looking for self-leveling concrete filler. I found it and the steel brushes that the DIY information online had told me I needed but I read the back of the tube and it said something about needing “fine sand” which was a first for me. I found a gentleman named Rob at the Paint desk and asked for his help. Of course he was amazing! Informed me that, with what I was describing about the crack, sand was definitely unneeded and then led me to a bigger container as he felt that what I was describing made it possible I would run out with the smaller tube. Since I had other cracks that could use filling, the bigger container was a no-brainer for sure. Got that done, got back to the car and sure enough, I had forgotten I needed to find a very small Allen wrench to fix my screen door handle and although the front guy called for someone to meet me, when Rob saw me come back in, he promptly left his paint desk again (neither time did I need help with paint: that should tell you something about the help at Ace!) and came back and helped me track down the right wrench! I really love this Ace store and Rob made it very clear to me today, why I love this Ace hardware store! People like him should be cloned and put in all the Ace franchises/branches! Thanks again, Rob!

Rode my bike here on my way to a job and needed some supplies. While the city did its part mostly in providing bike infrastructure, this ace location hasn't followed suit and has provided no bike parking. Normally I wouldn't give one star just for that, but while I was in the store I saw them, bikes! They sell bikes at the store, yet provide no parking for them. I think Ace needs to get with the program and realize that bicycle parking and infrastructure is going to become essential in North America, as people realize how much it actually costs to drive a car, both financially and their physical/mental health. If you listen Ace, put it front and center, not far away from the entrance. If you really care, point a camera or place security nearby for added security. Otherwise stop selling bikes and pretending that you support it.
