Yesterday, 3/17, I spoke with Nick at length regarding a delivery of an appliance. I explained that I would be in office and could not be home during the day from 10-3 so delivery needed to happen either early in the morning or the last slot as it's easier for me to either go in late or leave early as my job has quite strict rules. Nick confirmed with me yesterday, 3/17 that the delivery would be made from 4-6pm. Today, 3/18 at 1:57pm, I received a call from the delivery personnel asking if I am home for the delivery or if I could get home as soon as possible. I explained again I could not be home until 4pm as that is when I notified my workplace I would need to leave by. The delivery personnel explained they had finished their deliveries early and were close by. I again explained I could not just leave work outside of what was approved. Then today, again, I received another call from Rob (who had started to leave a voicemail and introduced himself as Rob from Planet TV). Rob asked if I could leave work early and at this point, I am quite frustrated as I have repeatedly explained to various people that I could not be home before 4pm. Rob then continued to mansplain to me that delivery times are not a science and I do not need to be so frustrated. Rob continued to repeat to me that delivery times are not a science and continue to tell me I need to work with them for this delivery as they finished early. I repeatedly explained to him that I cannot leave early as I was given a time frame and delivery attempts outside of the window are not my problem. At the end of the call, Rob threatened me saying, "I'm hanging up and just so you know I'm your landlord." I have never in my life been threatened or disrespected to such a level ever let alone for a delivery. On top of that, the fridge that was delivered had a dent.

My wife and I are new to the area. My son lives in Stamford and has used Planet to purchase a washer and dryer stackable. We accompanied our son and were impressed with the selection of washer and dryers, so we bought one of each. It was a very quick process and the prices were competitive. Bob was very knowledgeable and great to work with. We had delivery within 5 days! Nice people! A very good experience and we highly recommend!

The worst experience ever!!! We went into Planet TV and Appliances to buy a new clothes dryer; the salesman was so rude and not into making a sale. It honestly felt like we were bothering him. No sense of customer service and extremely unprofessional. He couldn't be bothered with checking prices, delivery dates (the guy was supposedly out to lunch), or just being a normal human being. They should brush up on their customer service skills. Glad we went elsewhere to make a purchase. And we are returning customers from Planet TV, shows they do not care about their customers.

An excellent experience, from initial store visit through delivery. Bob at Planet TV & Appliances found exactly the refrigerator I needed — just enough features and in a hard-to-find size — by sharing information with no sales pressure. He expedited delivery to arrive before I left on vacation. The two delivery men took all the time needed to expertly install the new refrigerator and carefully remove the old one — even though I was the last delivery on a very long day. Highly recommend this store for any major appliances.
