La Caja China®

I have used their roasters before, and they are amazing and great for family parties. I recently ordered one and haven't heard anything from the company for over 10 days. The website states 5-8 days for shipping. I emailed numerous times, and when you call the number, it goes to a prerecorded message from Verizon stating there is an issue making your call. Maybe they went out of business? I will gladly update the review if they ever get back to me and resolve this. Hopefully, it's just a simple oversight due to their phone lines being down.

If you order through their website, do not pay attention to the approximate shipping times. It will take 3x that if that... Called customer service twice with very little help. That lady was rude! The first time I called (2 weeks after placing my order with no updates), i was told they were waiting for the legs then it would be shipped off right away. Another week passed and I called again. This time I was told they had all the parts except the racks?! I was told it would take another 2+ weeks before delivery! I told them they needed to put a note on their website for customers ordering, because that's just plain ridiculous. Now, this box is already way overpriced to now have this kind of customer service. I will never order from them again and I am considering simply cancelling my order altogether. Extremely annoyed!

***UPDATE*** I did another pig roast, this time with an 80 lb. dressed pig and...the Caja China did a great job, again! I was lucky enough to find a great source for good, fresh pork and between the quality of the meat and the Caja China, I think the end product turned out very well. Hard to beat the Caja China for a pig roast to entertain lots of people - very happy with it! *** Purchased a Caja China about two months ago and have used it twice - including Thanksgiving. Super-easy to use and the pig came out perfect both times. The customer service has been great - I spoke with Leidy and she was just super-nice and super-helpful. Looking forward to more cooks on my La Caja China!
