Dieumano of D&D Appliances sold me a Kitchenaid refrigerator with a broken compressor under the premise that it worked fine like new and thought it was under a year old. I later found out it was the same model as a new unit but 8 years old. Do not do business here.
When we plugged it in and found out it was broken, he said he would fix the technician to fix it that weekend, they did not show, I called again and he did the same thing (tech will come this weekend) that is another week without a fridge. They did not come again.
I paid a technician to come and they told me it was a broken compressor and would not do a sealed system service (big job that is not worth it), and recommended calling Kitchenaid for warranty. I did, that took a week for Kitchenaid to send a technician. They also said it was a sealed system service and the labor alone would be $1000+ and indicated the repair may not solve the issue.
Dieumano stopped replying, until I started calling more regularly and told him I had two technicians come see it and they both said it was the compressor. This was 3 weeks by now, and with zero faith in Dieumano I bought the same model at Best Buy Outlet, like I should have done originally. It had a scratch on the front panel, so the original tech came back out and swapped the unscratched door for the scratched door panel. It ended up being one screw at the top. I pressed Dieumano for my money back and Dieumano said he would send a tech that would repair it or give me my money back.
Dieumano's technician finally came for a visit, could not repair it like he said , and saw they couldn't fix it and he told me he was not responsible for it anymore since I had it worked on by a technician, which he said to do three times. This company is a scam and should be shut down. You can roll the dice maybe he has some non-broken old 'like new' appliances.
