Avoid at all costs. They had our Ryobi electric lawnmower for months. Very unresponsive. We eventually gave them hundreds of dollars to get the lawnmower back without the original issue being fixed. Recent reviews here and on Yelp show this is typical. The older (positive) reviews seem to be for different people, maybe a different business.

Had a pretty poor experience here. Dropped off a karcher pressure washer that was less than a year old but kept stalling under max idle. The owner said said it was an issue with the carburetor. Mind you the original carburetor was super clean with no residue or anything that would typically clog a carburetor. Regardless I said ok please order a carburetor and ill pay for it. Weeks went by and no carburetor was put on to fix the issue. Finally I came and picked up the pressure washer and I ordered a genuine Carburetor from Karchers customer service phone line myself. They spent twenty minutes trying to find the unit in the shop. Shop is a complete unorganized disaster. A few days went by and the new carburetor arrived from Karcher at my house. Of course with new carburetor installed I still had the same issue. Brought the unit back and explained that the new carburetor did not fix the issue. Owner insisted that I did not buy the right carburetor because “karcher doesnt sell carburetors for their machines and it is impossible.” I told him clearly that they do and I have the invoice from Karcher to prove it. He did not care to see it. Owner then went back again that he would look at the unit more and order right carburetor. So I left the unit there again. A few weeks went by no contact at all from the owner. I tried calling often and could not get an answer. Went in person and asked if they had fixed the issue and owner still said no he did not have the time even though we were well past 2 months at this point. I asked for my 50 diagnostic fee back because they incorrectly diagnosed the problem and caused me to waste my money on a new carburetor as well which was not the issue anyway. Owner was very rude and claimed that he correctly diagnosed the issue and that the issue was the carb. He asked me if I was a mechanic and when I said yes he said then I should fix it. Very sarcastic and smug attitude. He told me that the fee covers the inspection of the unit- trying to say he did his job and that he has people to pay. This guy- the owner is very unprofessional and full of excuses for why he cant get the job done. He has no accountability and refuses to accept blame for the most obvious situation in which he is at fault. The very least he could do is refund $50 for incorrectly diagnosing the issue- causing me to waste $50 on a new carburetor- and then still giving me the machine back not working with gas cap loose and spark plug out. Total waste of time and a big headache

Our power went out and generator started smoking. They were able to come out quickly and repair the damage. They’re honest and fair. This is the kind of company you want to support and the kind of people you trust in your home… which is priceless. 10/10 recommend!

Mark was cordial and even helped me get the unit in and out of my truck. I have a six month old Simpson 4400psi gas pressure washer. It needed a quick connect for the hose and a relief valve. Allegedly a 3 year warranty. Dropped it off on December 7 and picked it up still not 100% fixed on January 12. The man is obviously busy and there was two holidays in that time frame. So I whole heartedly kept that in mind. I was quoted a one week finish time. We obviously went a little over that at five weeks total. This is a “brand new” unit purchased from Simpson. Allegedly comes with a warranty but paid for the services and one of the parts for my unit. I ordered the other part myself thru eBay and it will be here in five days. That’s including the weekend. 3 business days. If you are in a hurry and need accurate estimates for turnaround times. You might want to choose another place. I did not read any comments before I gave him my business and a lot of other customers had the same issue I ran in to. I came here because he is an Authorized Simpson service center. I will not be purchasing anything else from Simpson either. I received a used unit that was advertised as new. The warranty is useless. Customer service is a complete joke. Not happy with turn around time at Allen’s Electric & Appliance. Completely dissatisfied with Simpson.

So I had a 2000 predator generator at now the son's shop for over 2 months and I was find with the time because he was dealing with his father passing. He called me and told me that he could not fix it and I could come pick it up at no extra charges. 2 days later I'd went to pick it up and he said after talking with me on the phone that he was able to fix it. He showed me that it would run with a load only. He placed it in my vehicle and I was ready to go but he said he need to write a invoice. I went in his shop and walked out paying him $40 on top of the $40 deposit. I have to say I was not prepared for any payment, but I paid him with a credit card what he said I'd owed. Got home and and over a few days I finally tried to use the generator and it would start, run and then stall out. I'd checked the oil and there was not much in it. And at the time I'd seen some oil but did not think much of it, filled it up and it ran fine then the next day it stalled again and I checked the oil again and there was not much oil so I'd gave a oil change and filled it and it ran good but by the later of the day it stalled again I'd seen alot of oil inside the case and it seemed to be coming from the valve cover but I did not have the time to see what was really going on. A few days later I'd got a chance to pull it apart and check the valve cover one of the 4 bolts was loose which I'd thought that was the problems but decided to take the valve cover off because I'd thought one bolt should not of been causing that much oil lost. Ther was only the 4 bolts that had any gasket left. I'd called him.and let him know what I've found and asked if he had a gasket and he said they are not available. Guess that was why there was no gasket. He did not offer any solution to the error on his part. His dad was a good person and took care of me. Was expensive but good work which is why I'd went there. If this kind of service is his plan he won't have business or repeat business.
