Distinctive Appliances

Extremely poor business ethics, I purchased 3 appliances with a 6 month warranty and 2 weeks later one of the appliances has stopped working and they refuse to fix it , they will charge a $89 service charge just to send someone out , Will never do business with them. They also delete text conversations and don't send the receipt to erase proof. When you call to inquire for repairs, they claim they can't hear . Linda , you know very well that you offered 6 month warranty and never sent the receipt and deleted the phone conversation.

This place is the Worst!! Stay away and save yourself the problems that comes with purchasing from them I recently purchased a washer from them and when it was agitating it made a loud squeaking noise as well as shaking and jumping when it was spinning out The manager sent out the rudist technician He had his earphones in listening to music the entire time and when the washer was spinning he leaned on the washer with both hands to keep it from being off balance The manager indicated that the reason it sounded like was off balance was because I live in mobile home (NOTE: I have lived in the same mobile home for more than 12 years and have washed many loads of clothes and never encountered this issue) Once again I had to go to affordable appliances and choose another washer. Low and behold the 2nd washer did the exact same thing on the spin cycle Once again I called and spoke to the manager only to be given the same excuse that I live in a mobile home. Before I could leave to go back to the store The manager phoned me to tell me she met with management (when in reality she is the manager) and a decision was made to refund my money so I could shop elsewhere. I did exactly that and am very pleased with my purchase from elsewhere. And it spins out very quietlly. And yes I still live in this same mobile home! Stay away from affordable appliances!!! Unless you want to get the runaround and no resolution to your purchase, and be treated very rudely.

I would give 0 stars if I could they robbed my mother of 300 dollars and still have not fixed her washer after they completely ignored her took her money sent someone out to look at the washer he tore it apart then said he couldn't fix it left then told the shop owners he fixed it but really ruined my mother's washer. The worst part is affordable appliances wont give my mother her money back or even fix the washer for her terrible people terrible service. Never use this appliances repair center if you can call it that. And then proceeded to bring her back her washer broken after taking it for 4 more days. Don't worry this post wont be going anywhere, you can come up with however many excuses you need to for you and your lazy employees. The facts are your a bad company

It's definitely "affordable." But don't expect excellent customer service. The dryer I purchased didn't work, and despite the front desks bemoaning, it was eventually corrected. Thanks to the owner for stepping in to solve the problem. Edit: Just to clarify, my complaint is about the customer service, not the warranty. Over the course of a month, I spoke with the same woman multiple times—both in person and over the phone—and each time, she treated me like I was a nuisance. It was a sharp contrast from how kind and helpful she was when selling me the dryer, which made the experience even more frustrating.
