Eugene was great. He clearly detailed the problems found and explained why we should consider replacing the parts before they completely fail. We weren't expecting to pay as much as we did but at least it wasn't the cost of purchasing and installing a new AC unit. Now we have to consider adding freon at an additional maintenance cost and freon per the pound.

We had Lex M. come out this morning to diagnose an AC issue. He went straight to work and fixed it immediately through process of elimination. Lex was very knowledgeable and explained issues in layman's terms which is great for someone like me who doesn't have a clue about HVAC. He located the wiring issue and called out the issue with the condenser. He quickly rewired and changed the equipment that was defective. Astera has budget friendly price and we will be using them again in the future thanks to Lex! He used shoe protectors while working inside of the house to not track dirt inside which was a nice touch.

Astera has been an absolute dream to work with. Starting with the owner and all technicians who have been here every time they are here I know the job is going to be done right. Initially, I contacted them to clean up a horrible job on a brand new furnace and air-conditioning install from a different Company. The entire system although brand new had to be completely rebuilt because it was installed wrong and wasn't working properly if at all. The first repair/rebuild took an entire day and the system has been working properly since then we also signed up for the yearly spring and fall, clean and checks. As it turns out, there were some very large dead animals inside of my HVAC units that had not been replaced, and although I was told the prior company had cleaned my units, it was quite obvious they had not. Pictures were taken by Astera To show me every step in the process. This is one of the few companies I have complete confidence in. They have gone above and beyond at every single visit to my house. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are always on time. They are always within budget. If any money needs to change hands, I gladly recommend them to all of my acquaintances and friends.

They were able to come out 2 hours after I messaged them! George was fantastic and on time. He was very polite and knowledgeable about the furnace and what needed to be done to fix it. He explained everything to me throughly. I will absolutely be calling them next time I need maintenance!! Here are the before and after photos!
