Sump Pumps Direct

I paid $152 for NEXT DAY AIR. They called me the next day and said that the pump was not in stock and wouldn't ship for another week. So I told them I wasn't paying for next day air. They STILL charged me for next day air and wouldn't refund it, even though I got it over a week later. They lied and said that I had not ordered the pump the week before, because they changed the date on the order and charged my card when the pump shipped. These people are liars and the customer service is horrible. I took my business elsewhere.

I recently received a sewage pump and the box was damage by FedEx . I never opened the box and sent it back on a timely manner before the date needed. I receive an email they received there product back before the due date . I only got a partial refund because the box was damage which was done by FedEx and they claim the pump has scratches and small damage . I never open the box and if the pump was as they say then they sold me a used pump. Now they want me to recoup some of my Money from ups cause I got insurance when I sent it back .save your money don’t buy from this company .

Similar to other reviews, this company mails you used products labeled as new products that are broken and then blame it on FEDEX and say you need to check with the manufacturers warranty. In my case this was a Zoeller Propak sump pump that cost $1,235.25. There is now way FEDEX had anything to do with this as the exterior box had no problems however all interior packaging was opened and ripped. The PVC pipe on the pump appears to have been previously installed and was cracked. This caused my plumber to have to go to Home Depot and repair the pump delaying the process and costing me additional money. This company does not care and will not offer you a discount. Find the product from somewhere else. The credit applied was not enough to cover the actual cost of the damaged product repair.

After reading the reviews on this company, I was a bit concerned, but I checked The Better Business Bureau website and they had a AAA rating. I contacted the manufacture of the back up pump I needed and they suggested purchasing from Sump Pumps Direct because they had the item I needed. I went ahead and ordered online the item I needed. It was shipped the same day and I was able to install quickly and was up running in no time. They did a great job getting the item I needed quickly and without a problem. Too bad some people can’t leave a good review and only complain about bad service.
