Ollie's Bargain Outlet

On a recent visit to Ollie's, there were several of us standing in line, waiting to check out. Two cashiers worked, while a group of employees stood behind the checkout counter, ignoring customers. They were gossiping and laughing, and frankly acting like trash - shouting expletives. One of them even "cut the line" to get her snacks checked out ahead of waiting customers. One of the cashiers was clearly irritated by them and even said something, which they also ignored. Those of us in line just stood and watched them, incredulously, while we waited, and they did nothing. Even if they were all on legitimate breaks, which I doubt, it was a really bad look. Ollie's was already a bit sketchy in my book, but I gave it a try every now and again. After this, I won't be back.

It's a fun place. Some process are amazing, and others are kind of just normal price. But you can always find things you need. When they get right shipments is my favorite time. Pretty throw rugs for excellent prices. Also great place for soap and shampoo (if you aren't terribly picky- but that have really stiff sometimes) discount sheets, towels and pillows. Great candy selections. Little helpful things you didn't know you needed. I go at least once a month!

Got alot of my Christmas shopping here. I filled up my cart on top and bottom and only spent $250. It was amazing. However I am only doing 4 stars because of the lady who cashed me out. First of all when she saw my cart she rolled her eyes and said "oh great". Second with all the stuff I had she didn't want to give me bags to put it in. She said that they only have small bags. However her version of small bags are still bigger than Wal-Mart bags. I had to beg her to just get 3 bags. Also I know it's Christmas time and she doesn't want to be at work but who does? She was extremely rude. I wish I would have went to the other cashier because she did seem friendly. If it wasn't for my cashier I would have given 5 stars. Sorry Ollie's! I still do love your store!!

I usually stop by this plaza for the Planet Fitness gym since I’m a truck driver. Today, I decided to visit this store for and I was really impressed! The prices are very reasonable—much cheaper compared to other stores—and the customer service was excellent. The staff here are friendly, and really helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Review written 12/30/2024. Interesting assortment of items including low priced books, and many other items (food, toys, bedding, etc.). They have a rewards program you can sign up for that sends coupons out sometimes for an additional % off. I have a curtain rod from there that has held up perfectly for about 2 years, that was about 75% lower price than it would have been at Target etc.
