Bonneval's Discount Appliances

I waited to make sure everything worked out since I’ve seen some negative reviews, but I bought a gas dryer here a few months ago. No issues. I walked in and was immediately met with the owner who asked what I needed and immediately within 2 minutes I was buying lol. Great prices! They even were able to sell me the gas kit for a great price! Delivery and installation was EXCELLENT. Customer service was also great to me! Love these guys and I’ll definitely shop with them again if I’m ever in the market for another appliance!!

Used appliances are a tricky bunch. I've bought NEW and OLD and if I can get 5 years from either one -- great. Hopefully $350 for a used washer here (that is probably 5 years old) will last another 5 years (***only got it 8 months). The new one I had lasted 3-5 years (for $550) and decided to use this one from Bonneval. He gave me a 3 month warranty, BUT if it fails, I have to bring it back. So the people who have had issues (1-star reviews), I think bringing it back totally stinks but that might be the wiser of options rather than relying on them sending a tech. Again, these are USED appliances that broke/wore out early in its career. ***After 8 months: a) I've replaced water inlet valve ($25 part) after 3-4 months b/c it was leaking very slowly (worn gasket). b) Then 4 months later, it didn't spin dry well (Jan 2026). So I checked at the bottom, and found a broken speed sensor ($15) and worn washer belt ($25) that lost about 30% of the material. (Thank God for YouTube bc it took me 5 minutes to figure out speed sensor and another 15 minutes to put on the new belt later.) c) A week later, the tenant said it magically turned on in the middle of the night (Jan 2026). I googled that: it can be fixed by: resetting it (which I did the week before), finding a fried capacitor (few dollars), or changing out the entire board ($100-300)...I decided to get another washer for the time being. I think it washes still but didn't want to troubleshoot the electric issue on a re-USED washer -- that has been repaired by them & then by me, twice. 3rd time by me? I'm gonna think about it. I could bring it in and they fix it for $100 or $300 but it's based on the issue. That means I have to unload, move, and bring it in. The most difficult? My house has 6 steps and it's heavy enough to make it feel like I am scaling the Himalayas w/ those 6 steps.

-10 stars- I walked into Bonneval’s expecting to browse a few used machines, maybe get pointed in the right direction. Instead, I walked out with a top-tier electric washer and dryer set at a price that genuinely surprised me. The value here is real. From the first conversation to the final handshake, the entire experience was streamlined and professional. They didn’t upsell, they didn’t waste my time, and they didn’t play games. They listened to what I needed, showed me exactly what matched that need, and made the decision easy. Delivery was where they really proved their operational excellence. The team showed up on time, installed everything flawlessly, verified every connection, and made sure I understood the setup before they left. Not a single hiccup. Zero drama. Just clean execution. The delivery guy himself was outstanding — respectful, efficient, and clearly good at what he does. I tipped him, and honestly, I wish I had ten times that amount on me because he earned every bit of it. In a world where customer service feels like an afterthought, this place still gets the fundamentals right. Strong recommendation from me. If you need a washer or dryer and want solid value without the corporate runaround, this is the spot.

I used this place for multiple appliances in the past and was very happy. Every appliance looked brand new, I never had any issues with any of them, and they were easy to work with. But that was 10-20 years ago and I'm guessing the original owner has retired or sold the business. This time was a nightmare. I don't want to spend an hour on this review so I'll sum it up. Difficult to schedule with. Arrived and then told me they would have to go back to the shop to fix something "real quick", didn't return for hours. After I rearranged my schedule to accommodation them because it would "only take 15 minutes." Back panel put on wrong and no anchors on the screws Dirty Bad paint job covering large rust patches Didn't respond for weeks when I told them it was squealing on the spin cycle then told my landlord that I was the one not responding to them Finally agreed to come repair it then upon arrival told me they would instead be swapping it out Replaced a high end Whirlpool with a bare bones Roper Told me I "didn't need to use the delicate cycle" New machine also squealing even though I was running it without clothes just to clean it. Generally condicending Listen to the bad reviews. I believe any recent good ones are fake. Sucks such a great place has gone downhill but you're better off trying your luck on Marketplace. (Just make sure you're not buying from them because I saw both of mine on there before I got them.)
