Our first visit to Bray & Scarff and we we're impressed and surprised. Very helpful, knowledgeable salesman Bret Dean. We didn't buy the original appliance we went in for but feel we got something more superior. Plan to use their kitchen decorating services next. Thank you

It may not be fair to blast a store for how their products perform. What other choice do I have? They sold me the piece of garbage and they didn’t stand behind it. Was it fair that I bought a $1000 appliance that broke after just 2 1/2 years? Was it fair that Bray and Scarff offered to fix it for an estimated $500, half the original purchase price? I say estimate because just finding out the repair cost would be an expense of $175, a non refundable diagnostic fee above and beyond the repair. One of Bray and Scarff’s primary brands is GE. All our previous LG appliances were approaching 14 years old (with a nary an issue) so we bought a whole new GE suite. Did it matter to Bray and Scarff that we’d spent so much when we later needed their help? Of course not. Among our purchases was a GE Washer, which apparently has a habit of burning something called an “inverter board,” a $160 part located so far in the bowels of the machine, a person would have to strip it down to reach it. Well, mine conked out after less than 2 1/2 years. Bray and Scarff actually told me, “That’s why we sell extended warranties.” Hmmm, tough choice: spend at least $500 replacing a small part of the machine that’s just going to break again in 2 years, or buy a new machine for $1000. It wasn’t just them. The GE customer care department offered a different solution: a brand new machine for only another $1000 (apparently, a discount!?). Even the representative himself said he wouldn’t drop another thou on the company that had sold him the klunker in the first place. So that’s our new reality. From the days of the Maytag Man whose machines seemed to last a lifetime to a time when a thousand dollars can’t guarantee you a reliable machine for even a couple years. Bray and Scarff thinks that’s too much to ask. I won’t be asking them for anything else again, that’s for sure.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Ian Willhelm at the Bray & Scarff in Annapolis! Ian guided us through the purchase of a full suite of large appliances, while helping us save with the available discounts and rebates. His customer service was thorough and top-notch from start to finish. Here is why we highly recommend him: - Incredible Patience: He worked with us patiently for months, never rushing our decision and ensuring we felt confident every step of the way. - Expert Guidance: Ian knows his stuff—he guided us to the perfect appliance suite that fit both our needs and our space beautifully. - Attentive Communication: Whenever we had questions or needed updates during the process, he was always responsive and professional. If you are looking for a stress-free appliance shopping experience, definitely go see Ian!

Purchased Thermador kitchen from Bray and Scarff in Annapolis. First, we had issues with our double oven and called Bray and Scarff saying it was after the warranty period. They wouldn’t even come out for cash to fix it. Then we had problems with our refrigerator, but the refrigerator was under warranty so they came out. The guy who came out, said he didn’t know anything about our refrigerator And couldn’t fix it. He said he didn’t even know how to access the innards of the refrigerator. I said it’s obnoxious that you don’t service what you sell. He agreed. I absolutely would not purchase from Bray and Scarff.

We worked with Jeff and could not be happier. Walked in, explained what we were looking for and Jeff walked us around and explained each option we had. He kept our price range in mind and gave us zero pressure to buy. Working with Bray & Scarf was a much better experience than any big box store. 10 out of 10 recommend. UPDATE: From order to install was 4 days. The crew who came to install communicated the time window clearly and called when they were on the way. they worked cleanly and were extremely professional. They set up the new fridge and made sure I understood how it functioned. Overall we were extremely satisfied.
