George is super nice and professional. My foolishness caused my freezer fan to die. I purchased the fridge new at Lowes 3 yrs ago and was actually debating purchasing another fridge before my fridge and freezer food ruined. George not only replaced immediately but gave me friendly advice ...no more shopping bc I'd stuffed too many items in freezer....definitely my fault. George had it going in no time. I had appointments that I was afraid I'd need to cancel but thanks to George I was able to be on time and with peace of mind. George's Appliance Service is great! They repair all kinds of major appliances. Also sell some new and used (but refurbished) stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc. It is a well established family business. Almost a fixture of Acushnet Av in the North End of New Bedford. Call for service and leave a message if they don't answer. Chances are you will be talking to Mrs. George when you hear back from them. Sometimes you can get an appointment the same day, other times they get busy and set you up a day or two later. Whenever your appointment is, it's George who comes to service your equipment and he is good at what he does. Even had the parts I needed in the truck so I didn't have to wait for parts. All in all, a good experience. We'll be calling them if anything else needs service. They get a rare 5 stars from me.

My family has used George's Appliance for many many years to service their rentals. George is very professional and reliable and we hope to continue utilizing his services. I have found that lately when I've tried to call, the voicemail asks for me to enter a "Remote Access Code" and I have been unable to reach them these past couple of weeks for that reason. I wonder if he is even aware of this phone issue? Hope everything is ok!
