Hurst Appliance

TWo of these 5 star reviews are from employees of Hurst. This has to be one of the most disappointing experiences in recent memory. We have just finished a kitchen remodel. On my contractor’s recommendation I purchased all of our appliances from Hurst. Don and George are very unorganized. First they delivered the wrong dishwasher, we got that straightened out fairly quickly. Now our brand new Bosch range does not work properly. It has taken a week plus numerous phone calls to get the repair guy over. He came today and discovered that we need a new motherboard. They have to order the motherboard, probably 3 weeks to get it. Then who knows how long it will take to have it installed. If you call the store, you get a machine and no call back. On top of everything else, a woman from Hurst has called me repeatedly to sell me a 4 year warranty. The warranties are $300 per appliance. It seems ludicrous to spend even more money for a warranty on an appliance that does work when it’s brand new, plus, I have NO faith that Hurst would even honor this extra warranty. Once they have your money, you are on your own. They are strictly sales only, NO service. BTW, I looked through the other reviews and see that at least 2 are from people who work for Hurst! How is this place even in business?

Best experience! We are completely remodeling our kitchen and went to Hurst for our appliances. Don could not have been nicer and he is so knowledgeable. There was never any pressure to purchase from him whatsoever. He knew the ins and outs of every single line and appliance he carries and was completely honest about everything. We must have visited him at least a half dozen times and we got the best service each and every time. When we finally made our purchase (an entire Thermadore package) we felt great and confidant that we made the best choice for our project. Would recommend Don and Hurst appliance implicitly!
