The Appliance Shoppe

We were very pleased with our dealings with The Appliance Shoppe in purchasing a new refrigerator. Our old fridge stopped working suddenly and we were able to get a loaner fridge while we were waiting for the delivery of a new one. We appreciated communicating with Loren their salesperson. We’d also like to give a shout out to their delivery team, Connor and Wayne, who were very personable, informative, and extremely careful in bringing the new fridge in. I really appreciated his knowledge and professionalism, as well as his recommendations in selecting the appliances that suited my needs and budget. Buyer beware. Bought all of our new, high end appliances for our new home from Appliance Shop in Windsor. Viking, Thermador etc. After 1.5 years we had problems with the Viking refrigerator, freezer and Thermador stove. Paul assured us they would service them and get the issues fixed ASAP. Unfortunately we found out the hard way that this was not true. Their service tech actually told us he was not knowledgeable or qualified to service Viking appliances! 3 MONTHS without a refrigerator and too many calls and false promises, we took matters into our own hands, calling the manufacturer direct, finally getting a qualified repair company from out of town to fix the issue! NOT ACCEPTABLE! We also found out the Viking fridge & freezer was old inventory and already out of warranty! This was never discussed during the sale. We continue to have issues with the Viking built in fridge/freezer and are paying out of pocket due to total lack of support from Appliance Shop & Viking. There are better appliance retailers and manufacturers out there, so do your research!

Went there to replace and old fridge and were extremely pleased with the experience. Rich helped us in the store and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up getting a fantastic Frigidaire unit for a great price. We saw a very similar model elsewhere for significantly more money. They delivered the unit a few days later. I believe the names of the delivery crew were Jesse and Conner. They did a great job disassembling and removing the old Samsung, then bringing up the new unit, disassembling it in the hall, then assembling it inside our unit. All of this was needed because it wouldn’t fit through the door otherwise. I definitely recommend this store, whether you need a standard fridge or a $20,000 wine chiller. Amazing selection, prices, and staff.
