Gopher Bargain Center

The products are awesome. Prices are do so. Employees need a class in treating their customers like gold!!! Not approachable what so ever, like you're wasting their time!!! Too bad, one bad experience gets shared 14 times more than good experiences.... I still go there tho, love the concept and the off the wall products!

I am a life long resident of Sauk Rapids. I remember coming here with my father since the early 1960s. I remember when Helds own the store. Gopher bargain center has also been a great place to look for a good deal. You never know what you may find here. Large variety. Sometimes I will stop just to browse. It’s a wonderful experience. I’ll have to stop by soon and check to see if the very large oversized captains chair is still in the upstairs furniture department. I have brought this item up to many other people over the years.They too as children sat in that chair. As kids we all sat down in that chair. We’d have to climb up to get into it. Good memories! I wish that whoever the current owners are continued success. It is a local icon of this area. Thanks sincerely for the great memories. P.S. I just returned from Gopher today and was glad to see that the worlds largest captains chair is still there. Multiple generations have sat in the big chair. My own daughter included. I was tickled to see that a small wooden staircase has been added to help small children climb up into it. Wonderful! Keep up the good work. The local community loves you. Thanks again.
