We have used Kimball for appliance repair twice now, once for our washing machine and once for our oven. When we knew we needed the oven repaired, there was no question as to whether we'd use Kimball since they'd been so great the first time. Our second experience was just a great as the first. From the first call to schedule an appointment to finalizing the repair, they were prompt, courteous, and thorough. Both technicians we have worked with have taken time to explain the repairs and gone above and beyond to make sure they answered any questions that might arise. Highly recommend!

I first found Kimball Appliance in the fall of 2025 when our new icemaker needed repair. Kimballs was an authorized service provider for the manufacturer. Jeremy came out and was SO helpful and kind. This icemaker was a real challenge and Jeremy worked with the manufacturer over several weeks to do the extensive required testing before the manufacturer would provide repair parts under warranty. They eventually did in December, and all was fine until it started going down again in mid-March of this year. I called Kimball’s again and this time Aidan came out and put me in direct touch with the manufacturer. Aidan was also very helpful and professional. After the manufacturer consulted with Kimball’s again, they finally agreed to authorize a full parts and labor evaluation under warranty (at this point the warranty was technically expired, except on compressor). Jeremy again performed extensive required testing until the manufacturer was satisfied and agreed to again replace the compressor. Jeremy provided them with detailed notes, data and testing results. He and Josh returned the icemaker today and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this (3rd) compressor is the charm. While I am not impressed with the product itself, this review is not about the manufacturer but rather about Kimballs….and I can’t say enough good things, especially about Jeremy, Aidan and Josh. Also Shelly in the office was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend using Kimballs for any appliance needs. They will go to bat for you with complex manufacturer issues.

I have had problems with servicing my Scotsman ice machine in the past, this is my second one, and called the manufacturer…they recommended Kimball Appliance Service to call and help me out. I CANNOT say more positive things about Jeremy, who they sent to my house to figure out the issue! He was VERY knowledgeable, personable and kind! :) From the time I called to make the appointment, till Jeremy came and left WAS SUPER SMOOTH!!! I will not only use them from now on with all my appliances, but will also pass on their contact information to others with 100% confidence! More than it being fixed, I’m thrilled to have a good company for the future!

From the first call for a repair to the install of a new and much better ice maker the service and professionalism was wonderful. Jeremy was on time, very neat and respectful of the house and did an great job going over the service requirements plus offered information on a replacement options - wish was definitely the best choice for us and the 8 year old unit. I would highly recommend Kimball and also Jeremy! Since the appliances are now all 8 years old, should we need service on other items we will be calling Kimball and asking for Jeremy.
