Our refrigerator died so we started shopping around. Almost went with one of the big box guys but liked the idea of shopping local at a place that has a service department.
First off, I rate the sales and service as 5-star. They listened to what we wanted, answered our questions, didn't try to up-sell us, and gave us a competitive price. We also had them deliver and install, and haul away our old refrigerator. Turns out that the ice maker wasn't working in the new refrigerator, so I called the service department and they swapped out the ice maker. All good now, 5-star. So why 3-star?
When the delivery guys were taking out the old unit they accidentally put a dent in our front door. They took some pictures and said the store would be in touch about fixing it. I sent an email to the sales guy, he said he'd talk to the delivery guys and get back to me. Crickets. Called a few times. Crickets. At some point the sales guy came out and took some pictures. I called a few more times. Still crickets. I was told that because my door had a metal covering on the outside he wasn't sure how to fix that, but he knew a guy and would get back to me.
It's been over three months since the refrigerator was delivered, so I'm thinking I need to fix our door myself. Some sandpaper, some Bondo, and some paint. Doesn't seem that hard.
