We ordered a Miele dishwasher two months ago, and what should have been a straightforward installation has turned into an incredibly frustrating experience. The dishwasher arrived about a month ago, and we were contacted to schedule installation. Both my husband and I are self-employed, so taking time off work is difficult. When you’re given a three-hour window, it effectively means losing at least half a workday. First installation: The installers arrived but did not have a long enough drain hose. We were told someone should have come out beforehand to measure and prevent issues like this—but no one did. To make matters worse, they reinstalled our old dishwasher incorrectly, and my husband had to spend an hour fixing their mistake. They then took the new unit with them. Second installation: About a week later, after taking yet another half day off work, installers returned—but this time they couldn’t fit the dishwasher properly. They said a cut needed to be made to push it into place, but they didn’t have the correct tools. Once again, the dishwasher was taken away. Third installation: The dishwasher was finally installed. However, during testing, it did not work at all. We are now dealing with a $2,200 appliance, three separate installation appointments, multiple lost workdays, and a unit that still doesn’t function. The installer said a repair technician would be sent, but we have received no response from our sales representative despite following up. We have been patient throughout this process, but at this point, our frustration is more than justified. We are asking for immediate attention and a resolution to what has been an extremely poorly handled experience.

I came over here with very minimal plumbing knowledge and some pictures. Kevin understood, checked out my pictures, and gave me exactly what I needed. This is where I will come for all my plumbing supplies in the future. Thanks fellas.

I had an opportunity to visit Ferguson's recently while shopping for a new dual shower head. It's not something that is in my wheelhouse and I was overwhelmed with the choices. Luckily for me, Jessica, the Ferguson showroom CSR, was there! She was helpful, friendly, and above it all answered my questions concerning compatibility with our current shower, availability, pricing, etc without making me feel that my questions were stupid. She is definitely an asset to Ferguson's and to all of their customers! Thank you Jessica!

One star for the beautiful showroom and another for the knowledgeable salesperson. The experience unfortunately went down hill after that. Subsequent calls and questions about order status remained unanswered and both deliveries were DISASTROUS. Really an unpleasant end to an otherwise enjoyable shopping experience and especially distasteful since we spent a great deal of money. There is a competitor across town that also has a beautiful showroom and knowledgeable sales people. Save yourself some aggravation and go there instead.

Our experience with Ferguson has been far from stellar. The show room staff are slow on returning calls. We had to make several calls before we got a response. We knew what we wanted but had to wait for an installer to make sure the range and downdraft would fit. The one and only installer they sent out to us wanted to charge almost double what the installation should have cost. We next had to call several times to find out when the range and downdraft would arrive even though we were told we would be emailed or called. The emails and calls never came. The last straw was when we were told that the range and downdraft would be delivered on Monday and that we would get an email to confirm this. No email and when we called Monday morning, we were told it would be the next day. We informed the sales representative that that would only work if they delivered first thing in the morning as my husband and I both had prior engagements for the afternoon. We were told we would be first. Then a few hours later we were called by the person doing the delivery scheduling and was told we would be second. Again we told him that that would only work if they arrived before noon. We were told that they would arrive between 10 and 11, most likely before ten. Eleven came and went with no delivery. I had to cancel my appointment for the afternoon. The delivery people arrived at noon, apologized but explained that they had just driven an hour and a half from their first delivery, and now had to drive back another hour and half back to Winston-Salem for their third delivery. This organization in a mess. Everyone knows that the furthest delivery should be first and then you work your way back to your home base. We will never spend another penny with this Ferguson in Winston-Salem. They have lost our business and we will tell our friends about this fiasco.
