I was sick and tired of the no agitator AI electronics washer and dryer so I was on the market for an old skool washer and dryer, a simple mechanical timer, takes less than 30 minutes to do a load, easy to repair machine and as much as I wanted one, the famous Speed Queen was too expensive for me. Thrifty Appliances had a very wide variety of very nice machines and they were sooo clean and shiny. Tino was very nice and very helpful. He is very detailed on how to keep the machines running smoothly and he even hooks up the machines to show them running before you take them home. He stands behind his machines so much that he warns people not to slam those dryer doors lol My old skool Whirlpool direct drive machines are beasts at doing exactly what they were built to do and that's washing and drying clothes. No computer, no lights! I will go as far to say they have more options than what's offered on a brand new speed queen and the variable agitation speed is way faster too. No need for Wi-Fi and texting and singing cute little songs at the end of the cycle. I'm very happy with my purchase and my clothes are CLEAN!! If you are tired of those computers and taking hours to wash clothes with wifi type of machines and want a simple old skool with an REAL agitator that knows how to scrub them clothes clean I highly recommend you go see Tino!! I went to Thrifty Appliances to shop and the owner was so detailed to be honest with my complex need. I had some of the information that I needed but not all. He went honestly over his policies and I went home to measure. He saved me from a mistake and he could have sold me a set. He did not want me to make a costly mistake. He did not have the right size for my needed space. I thank him for his honesty and I respect this man and recommend this business for washer and dryers!

My wife & I started looking for a new washer today. Ours had finally given up after 20 years of service. We checked out a couple of places before we found this place on Google. After reading the great reviews that Tino (Owner) had received, we just had to check this place out. Tino was kind, approachable & knew exactly what we needed. Our washer went down at Christmas, so we started shopping around at used appliances stores trying to find us another washing machine. We checked a couple stores, but nowhere really compared to here. His washers are clean, they look brand new, despite knowing they've been refurbished. He goes through them and cleans them up like new. He's extremely knowledgeable about what he's doing. He hooked the washer up for us to show us it worked, gave us a few tips on it, made sure we knew how to work it properly. I wanted to use the washer for a few days before I left my review, just to see how I liked it and how well it did, and so far I'm liking it better than the washing machine that broke on me. It works great. His appliances are just a hair more expensive than some of the other places, but to me it was well worth it.
