We’ve used Don Bacon Appliance Service for years on both our new and older appliances, and they continue to impress us with their professionalism, responsiveness, and honesty. We’ve worked with several technicians over the years, and every experience has been excellent. Most recently, Dan — their Sub-Zero specialist — was absolutely fantastic. Submitted a detailed request for service online for 2 Whirlpool appliances, dryer and refrigerator, at noon 7/28/25. Email confirmation was received in minutes. I was called at 3:30 pm to discuss specific details and the representative explained costs and procedures. I accepted the terms and was scheduled for next available appointment 7/31. The service technician Drew called me at 8:15am as planned, gave me the estimated time window of 12 to 2pm for arrival. He arrived at 12:20pm. Drew was polite, tidy and efficient. He started with the dryer, which was taking longer to dry loads than usual and having condensation inside when not running. Drew cleaned inside the dryer and determined it only needed maintenance cleaning, and the dampness was due to damage to the vent system. Don Bacon technicians only work on the appliances, not house-based accessories like the vent, as I had been told before he started. He could assure me the dryer had no damage and a new vent should end the problems. The refrigerator had water leaking from under the front in small amounts every 2 to 3 days. Drew cleaned and cleared the drainage system, removed accumulated ice from the freezer and had the refrigerator/freezer back in place operating by 2 pm. I am pleased that I was able to have two problems solved with one visit, saving time and money since I was charged one visit fee for the first appliance and only a labor charge for the second. Their technicians are trained on multiple appliances. I am satisfied with the work and I can recommend Don Bacon Appliance Service to anyone needing repairs or maintenance.
