Father's Dream Appliances

I bought a used washer from another place. last year that never worked right, and they wanted to charge me to fix it. I was very hesitant to go to father's used appliance. It's been a couple days now, and I've been able to use my appliances. So I feel I can review. I love these guys. They are very honest, very efficient and fast about delivering your stuff. I feel like I got a good deal from them and it has been great to be able to actually wash and dry. My clothes for days now. I feel like this was the best used place I've ever ever found and will never go anywhere else. I love you guys.

So I decided to go get a stack washer and dryer from them when they delivered it they hooked it up, but when I go to wash my clothes, it doesn’t work. It’s make this loud noise so then when I called the owner and spoke with him, he wants to tell me he didn’t sell me a broke washing machine. Please tell me how when I couldn’t wash my clothes That means it was broke correct and then he didn’t want to speak with me. He wanted to speak with my significant other because I told him I wanted a refund and he said he’s gonna do a warranty.!! why would I want you to come fix something that was broke from the beginning? I just wanted my money back and he’s trying to refuse that I know they’ve been around for years. Some people say they’re great service but my first experience with them was horrible and I don’t recommend no one to go there

First and foremost I love the owner and employees here. I just left from buying cash my first new washer and dryer with a 90 day warrantee. I went in to see what they had and to my surprise HE HAS A WHOLE WAREHOUSE FULL OF APPLIANCES. Very intimate family owned company. I was blessed to get a very good deal for 900$. And a free bird tree house!! Soo cute.. I live close so I was happy to have found something that fits my family size. This is my second investment this year for my life to be more comfortable and easier so I'm proud of myself. Moms remember u rule.. Beware: It's hot inside. U will sweat and fall in love with their well trained disciplined dogs. I wished I was able to take it with me today but I was pleased with the delivery drop-off time tomorrow. !!

Stopped into Father’s Dreams Appliances with a friend after a shopping trip. I needed a washer and dryer and always try to support small local shops. On my first visit, a salesman walked me through the showroom. I quickly noticed that none of the washers or dryers had prices listed. He explained that the owner handles pricing and asked me to leave my number along with pictures of the sets I was interested in. Later, the owner reached out and asked me to stop back in. The set I liked was clearly an older model. The first thing he asked was my budget, and I told him $650, not including delivery. He told me there was nothing in that range and that the set I liked would cost about $850 plus delivery. I was shocked. He went on to say that for $650,he would try to work with me and then proceeded to show me the oldest set of washers he had…20+ year old washer/dryer. I made an excuse and left. To the owner, I hope your pricing is based on ignorance of other options — like Facebook Marketplace — and not a deliberate attempt to take advantage of people who don’t know better in a YOUR COMMUNITY during income tax season. I can’t imagine used appliance values fluctuate so much that you can’t post prices in your own showroom. In fact appliances depreciate in-value overtime. I was reminded to write this review today as I went down to my basement to do laundry — with my gently used Samsung set ( a set that is still in stores at Lowe’s and home depot) I bought off Marketplace for $650 including delivery Reminder- All skinfolk ain’t kinfolk

I went with the intent of supporting a black owned business. Unfortunately, the used washer was terribly overpriced but purchased against my better judgement. It was delivered old machine removed but when using it for the first time it stopped working!!! water in the machine!!!wouldn't turn on..I was furious... after much back and forth and requested to come and get it, he said he didn't want it and pleaded with me to have it repaired. Refused... and reversed the charge.. purchased a new washer for $100 less than the used one.... very rude and argumentative.
