I can't say enough good things about this store. Mt Vernon is very lucky to have it. I worked with Randy to find a matching electric dryer for my new home. He found it for me and ordered it Monday. It came in Tuesday. He made sure to have me check the dryer outlet in my new home so I could get the right one. I came in Wednesday, confirmed they were almost exactly the same price as Lowes. Who didn't even have it in stock. It took me 5 minutes to pay for it and 5 minutes to load it with their help. And a free small bag of homemade peanut brittle to go with it. Not only did they give me a good price, they saved well over an hour of time getting it, let alone me researching it to get the right one. Thanks guys!!

Nick and Randy were incredibly friendly and helpful in making sure that I could get a unit that fit in the tight space that I had for a washer and dryer. The process was super easy and Nick and his crew literally had the washer and dryer set up in my business without me even being there it was that simple that smooth thanks

Called the store because I needed a longer dryer cord. Discovered it was wired wrong and I needed a different outlet as well. Rather than having to make another stop, Nick and Randy were able to help me resolve my problem at their store! They were so kind even gave my child a notepad and pen to ease her stress of being in a new environment. They truly earned our loyalty the next time we ever need a new appliance or service! I needed a dishwasher that would fit a specific space in my kitchen, so last year I visited Heralds in Mount Vernon, OH—the only local appliance store besides Lowes. After discussing my situation with the owner, I followed up by emailing them a photo of the obstruction behind the unit. I never received a response. Today, I decided to try again, thinking perhaps my email had been overlooked. When I returned to the store, the owner confirmed they had received my email last year but simply chose not to respond. They insisted that no dishwasher would work for my space, despite the fact that I currently have a model installed that is still available on the market. Having run my own business for many years, I understand the importance of good customer service—something this owner clearly lacks. I would not do business with this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. Their advertising slogan, "There's No Reason to Shop Anywhere Else," is hardly accurate. The showroom is average at best. While two employees offered reasonable assistance, my visit came to an abrupt end when the owner was called up from the basement. I would caution anyone about relying on a small-town business owner who believes they are the only option in town.

We had an excellent experience with Herald’s Appliances. We purchased a washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to help us choose the right appliances for our needs without any pressure. Everything was delivered as promised, and the customer service was outstanding. It’s hard to find a place you can truly trust, but Herald’s Appliances definitely earned our business. Highly recommend!
