ReStore Tulsa

Broken blinds were donated to this store. I found the blinds in what appeared to be a sealed box, so I bought them thinking they were in working condition. Turns out the most important part of the blind is missing and they won't stay down. Tried to bring them back and was told "All sales are final". I pointed out that there was no way for me to know they were missing a part and they said well you were more than welcome to pull them out in the store and try it. Apparently, it's on the customer to tear open boxes and try out the products before buying them. What a luxury for an organization that gets donations for their stock to be able to sell it to their customers and say "oh well, sorry" when it turns out the product was defective from the start. Even Goodwill allows returns, what a joke!!

I am writing this to formally express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at the ReStore in Tulsa. On April 21st, 2026, we returned to the store to address a mistake involving an appliance purchase. We had inadvertently purchased a dryer under the impression that it was a washer. As we are not appliance professionals, this was an honest consumer mistake. It is also worth noting that during the initial purchase and loading process, the employees who inspected our receipt did not clarify that the item was a dryer. When we explained the situation to the manager today, we were met with a rude rejection. The person in charge stated that because we picked the item, the sale was final, showing no regard for the fact that the inventory was misrepresented or that we have been loyal supporters of Habitat for Humanity for many years. I witnessed this interaction firsthand and was deeply troubled by the management's failure to recognize their role in identifying store inventory and their lack of professional courtesy. We feel that we have lost our money due to a simple misunderstanding that the store failed to help rectify and now has cost a loss of $400. That's not good. I hope they will look into this matter to ensure better customer service and accurate representation of products in the future.

They answered all my questions thoroughly and shared helpful tips without any pressure. What impressed me most was how **friendly** and approachable the team was. They greeted me warmly, took genuine interest in what I was looking for, and created a positive, uplifting atmosphere. Their enthusiasm for the cause was contagious, and it made the whole visit enjoyable and meaningful. ReStore Tulsa is doing fantastic work—turning donations into resources that change lives while offering great deals to the community.
