Ollie's has a saying "Door to Floor in 24" which is exactly what will happen. 24 steps before you have a trip hazard. No recovery, no pulling items forward or straightening here for the next day. The Ollie's oops section had some items that had some sort of brown gooey paste that got on our hands that we hope may have been teriyaki sauce (🤞🤞). Other than that, the rug cords not secured, the boxes blocking the aisles, the expired food (yes i know there is a best by date and an expired by difference), and the dead stares of overworked employees...it really wasn't that bad of a visit...

I visited Ollie's Bargain Outlet specifically for their Christmas clearance. The in store poster stated that all Christmas items were 75 percent off, excluding candy, candles, and storage. At checkout, I had a Christmas cookie tray, 3 Christmas sheet sets, a dog bed (labeled Christmas and holiday gift) and two Christmas pet toys. All of the items did not ring up as Christmas and they showed full price. When I questioned it, the cashier showed me a coupon (the one they scan) that stated “includes Christmas and Christmas pet toys”. The pet toy items I selected were labeled Christmas pet toy both on the packaging and in the product title. Despite this, the store refused to honor the advertised sale and told me I would have to put the items back if I didn’t want to pay the full price. If items that are *clearly* labeled as Christmas and even specifically mentioned in the coupon do not qualify for the sale, then the promotion is misleading.

This is the spot for good books, action figures, comics, and miscellaneous. Those are the main items I look for while shopping here. Especially over the holidays, you really can’t beat those prices. Join the Ollie points, to scan and receive the sales ect. The store itself isn’t always the cleanest lol but it’s what you would expect. Staff is usually friendly enough. I haven’t experienced any rudeness from any of the cashiers.
