Forget the warranty, I tried to read him the warranty on the Maytag dishwasher, he kept interrupting saying that the motor wasn’t covered, never again will I buy something from Wood’s Maytag. It was his repairman that said what was wrong. Service wasn’t important to him, just sales.

I never leave bad reviews for our small locally family owned stores, however I am about to do just that. About 2 years ago we bought a Commercial Maytag Washer from them, and less than a month ago we bought a Whirlpool stove/oven. We have bought other appliances from them in the past, too. If you have bought appliances recently then you know, we have spent several thousand dollars with them. Let me tell be the first to tell you, the service is great as long as they are SELLING you the new appliances. They talk a lot of BIG talk about warranty. They DO NOT stand behind their products and this is how they get out of it. If you have a problem with the appliance, and the appliance is still within the warranty range, they can never get a service person out to you within a reasonable time frame. They always say "I will put your name down but it is going to be 2 weeks out." Who can do without a washer or a cook stove for 2 weeks when you are a family of 4? And did I mention when we call he is rude about it? This is the THIRD time we have heard his same spiel. Do better Woods Maytag. Do better. We won't be back.

Bought a washer from him had many fixes was told by him to call Maytag he refused to release his work info on the product Very Very rude he said he owns his store he can do whatever he want ....Guess he can but lost a loyal customer..

I buy all of my appliances from Wood’s Maytag. He is competitive with the big brand stores and his delivery guys are great. Mr. Wood takes care of his customers.
