Today I had the most wonderful, helpful, inspiring conversation with Uncle Ed. Even though Uncle Ed does not specialize in the work I was looking to have done, he kindly and patiently directed me to a source that does what I was looking for. He even offered to help out if that source did not work out!!! In a situation where it would have been easy for this expert to belittle my lack of knowledge or be dismissive, this giant of a human being chose patience and kindness. Kindness begets kindness. Uncle Ed and his lovely wife deserve every kindness. Uncle Ed is a champion 🏆

Ol Uncle Ed is Amazing. He is so incredibly kind. I called him several times to ask questions after making my purchase and he was always happy to talk. I purchased a used (and most likely refurbished by the skilled hands of Uncle Ed, who definitely delivers quality with kindness) washer and dryer set today I installed them when I got them home (alas I live in a third floor apartment that is made of stairs before you even get to the stair well.) Uncle Ed does not deliver to apartments but he hefted the washer and dryer on a dolly with ease and I get the impression he delivers to houses. P.s. Uncle Ed is maybe 78 atleast. So kind and helpful. So active and funny. I enjoyed his story about how his place came to be called Uncle Ed's Bargain House. Ask him if you have a few minutes to hear a fun story. My washer and dryer are both connected and working just fine. The store doesn't seem impressive if you look at it but he has been there for 52 years doing this. You couldn't get a better product if you bought brand new. He even asked me to make sure what kind of dryer plug outlet I had because there are different kinds and if he needed to change my dryers cord he was gonna do it for free. The plug was the right one, but still. For free. Uncle Ed values Quality and kindness over all Shopping with him was refreshing and in a world where small businesses need all the help they can get, I understand why Uncle Ed's Bargain House has stood the test of time. If you need a Washer and Dryer set, or even just one or the other, The head over to Uncle Ed. He's and 80 year old White man still kicking strong and working in his own business that he has had for 52 years (it started with a different name. Ask him about it) and it's on Lancaster in the hood. This man can take care of all your washer and dryer needs. My set cost me $487.25 P.s.s. this last part is edited. He only takes Cash, he gives you a hand written recipet, and I don't think he knows much about google. He asked me how I heard of him at the end and I said Google and his exact words were "You seemed like a google person, some other lady came in and said she saw me on Google. I tried to advertise on Facebook but they kicked me off." I told him I would leave him a good review and I hope he gets more business. I don't think he knows about Google.
