Appliance Wholesalers Plus

I cannot recommend AWP. We purchased all of our appliances here and have had nothing but problems. Our double oven lasted 5 years & our GE washer with a sticker on the front stating a 10 year limited warranty that only covers the drum, lasted 2 years! AWP told us these are the best most reliable products and they’ve been selling them for 20 plus years. The repair people who have come to our home have said the opposite. They’ve all said these smart boards don’t last long and these products are known for these problems… you can go online and see what people have said that confirms this. There have been class action lawsuits against these companies… The appliance makers need to be held accountable for their unethical practices and the suppliers need to be held accountable for misleading the consumers. When I asked the AWP sales person what brand of appliances they have in their home, they told me it’s none of my business. Everyone needs to report the problems with their appliances to AWP so they know which products actually last. Leave messages everyday. I trust the repair people because they are the ones fixing the products every single day. They know what lasts because they live it. I don’t trust the sales people.They don’t care if something lasts, they’re just after the sales. AWP, please quit selling these crappy products and misleading consumers. Buyer beware. Talk to the appliance repair people before purchasing your appliances. Find out what they recommend. We have to stop rewarding unethical appliance makers and suppliers and buy the products that actually last. If there are any anymore?!?

We just purchased new kitchen appliances from AWP & had a great experience. Ian was very helpful in selecting the models that were just right for us and pleasant to work with. He price matched and gave us a nice discount. Then, on top of that, he gave us an upgrade at no extra cost. Wyatt & Danny did a great job installing; very respectful & patiently answered all our questions. They had to do a little adapting to make it all work, cleaned up & even took the time to remove stubborn stickers. These are people I would do business with again.

We bought all new appliances last year. We didn’t go cheap…we were told by the sales rep to use them because if you ever have a problem they work with the warranty people and stand by there products. We decided to use them even though they were the most expensive by far because of this reason. Fast forward a year and a few months…our “high end microwave” has now basically exploded and they came out and said it’s a manufacturer defect. Rather than contacting them and getting it replaced they pinned it on us! Shady folks…stay away from them…it’s not worth the extra money…they are taking advantage of customers…

I'm honestly extremely disappointed by our experience here, specifically our interactions with Jesse. We ordered a full set of appliances a few months back. Due to Covid 19 our fridge has be OOS for months. During that time we were supposed to receive a griddle that came with our stove (we were told it would be shipped to our address), also our brand new dishwasher has started making rattling and concerning sounds that were not happening when the dishwasher was installed. We messaged Jesse to let him know what's been going on. We've yet to receive our griddle and he completely ignored our attempts at sending him videos and concerns of our dishwasher. We finally received a message from him that our fridge is in stock. We informed him that we want to make sure that the issues we are experiencing are resolved before we spend another $3k as we are concerned about the longevity of the brand since we already experiencing issues with the dishwasher. He responded with so much animosity and told us to pay the remaining $17.90 we owe and he will sell the fridge to someone else. I'm honestly SHOCKED that a business owner would be so arrogant and treat his customers that way to completely dismiss their concerns, and also the fact that he still owes a product as promised that has not been fulfilled. I would rather pay more money and find the product somewhere else than deal with someone who truly does not care about his customers. As someone who works in customer service, the way he responded was completely unacceptable and I definitely will not be referring anyone to buy their appliances here. In fact I will make sure to let everyone I know of our experience and not to purchase from here. So much for trying to support a locally owned business.
