My boyfriend and I are renters. We recently moved to a new townhouse where the washer and dryer aren't provided by the landlord. We had heard good things about this place, so we decided to purchase a washer and dryer set here. Boy, what a big mistake that was! The drum in the washing machine is loose and it sounds like a plane is taking off any time I do our laundry. The dryer gets way too hot. I have burned my hand taking clothes out that were dried on "low heat". I can't tell you how many pairs of socks we've had to throw away due to a mate shrinking. It's ruined our clothes and left some wrinkles that are impossible to get out. My boyfriend had to replace the thermal fuse not even a week into owning the dryer. This is day 25 of owning the set and the dryer won't even turn on. They will only repair the set -no refunds. We live 40 minutes away so by the time we pay for a U Haul to get the washer and dryer back to the shop we'd be out another $100 at the least. We could've put the $535.00 towards a brand new set instead of wasting it here. Please do yourself a favor and purchase your appliances elsewhere.

I bought our washer/dryer combo there about 2 years ago and they were great! Well the other day the heating element went out and I called them and the lady said to bring the element, fuse and thermostat by and she could test them. It was the fuse and they replaced the part much cheaper than online and they had it already. I get home and get the dryer back together and realize I need to replace the pulley arm wheel so I went back and they had it. This place has given us a great experience and a personal touch. Brenda was the lady that helped me fix our dryer. I'm glad she knew what to do because I didn't. I wish they're were more business like this one! I recommend The Dragon Shop for used appliances!
