I went in with my wife to look for a similar material to the one I had in my hand for my roof. I was gonna ask some questions to the clerks and immediately they started shaking there heads no as if they already new what I was gonna ask. So as I tried to explain to them what I was looking for in comparison to the material I brought with me they continued to shake head no and tell me they don't have anything like it but maybe a 1500 dollar roll of roofing material. I decided to look around the stood and I found exactly the material I needed to finish the job . But on principle alone I did not make the purchase. This place didn't seem to want to help nor want my money so I granted there wish and left . Horrible customer service and rude employees.

I would prefer to shop here than the box stores, but every trip to SBS reminds me why it’s not worth worrying about. The newest experience: stopped by for a few supplies today. Almost every customer is masked, but no employees. You would think that would provide a strong enough message to get with the times, never mind what should be simple common courtesy (customer service?). The longer term experiences: some really good employees that are knowledgeable and helpful, but also some of the worst experiences I’ve had in town. Like, ordering fiberglass entry doors, getting metal ones instead. Call to inquire, get explanation of why I don’t need fiberglass doors. No apology. Hmmm, I guess the customer is always wrong.
