I had my dryer repaired in February because it was not heating. The technician replaced a part and the heating issue was fixed, I paid $220 but immediately after the repair the dryer started making a loud noise.
When I brought it up, he told me the noise would go away with use, possibly due to lubrication. Unfortunately, the noise only got worse over time.
Now, when I reached out again, I was told I would be charged $45 just for him to come out and diagnose the issue because the noise is considered unrelated to the original repair.
I understand that different issues can happen, but since the noise started right after the repair and I was told it would go away, I expected better follow up or at least a courtesy check.
Overall, the heating issue was fixed, but the experience after the repair has been disappointing.
