I had a great experience with GJ Appliances 4 Less and highly recommend them. My Kenmore stackable washer broke down while the dryer was still working fine. I initially ordered a brand-new Samsung stackable washer from Home Depot, but they told me they could not install it because it was a different brand from my existing dryer. They said I would have to replace both the washer and dryer even though the size was correct. I ended up canceling the order and visiting several appliance stores in person, but everyone told me the same thing. Luckily, I found GJ Appliances 4 Less. The technician, Oso, was incredibly professional and helpful. He confirmed that they could replace and install just the washer properly. Even over the phone, based on my description, he offered several suitable options and brands. I was able to choose an LG washer that they already had in stock, at a very good price (including delivery, installation & haul-away). The delivery happened in the evening on the second day, which was even faster than their original estimate. The installation was quick, smooth, and very professional. I waited about a month before writing this review to make sure everything works well, and I’m happy to say the washer has been working perfectly. Because our washer and dryer were separate and stackable, we initially thought—based on incorrect advice from Home Depot—that we needed to replace both units in order for them to stack properly. When we came into GJ Appliances, we met Oso, who immediately put us at ease and, more importantly, saved us from an unnecessary purchase. He explained that we could keep our existing dryer and use a universal stacking kit to install a new washer underneath it. He was honest, knowledgeable, and never pushy—just genuinely helpful. When we needed to go home to measure and make sure the unit would fit our space, Oso was completely understanding and patient. Once we were ready, he made the purchase process quick and easy. Oso and Jose also delivered and installed the washer, and they were incredibly thorough—double and triple checking that everything was properly installed, stable, and working perfectly. Jose and Oso were amazing. Helped install both my dryer and washer and even when we ran into the issue of not knowing where the gas line was they helped me figure it all out. Both gentlemen didn’t leave until both machines were connected properly, installed professionally, and working. The customer service was exceptional! At the store Shawn was also a great help. Would recommend this place and staff!
