1/5 in the last week

Have had good experiences in the past but really disappointed this time around with our ice maker. Ordered the wrong part multiple times (5, I think) and now told they can’t get the part and nothing more they can do. Update: my wife ordered the part on Amazon, replaced the old one, and now it works fine. SMH.

I feel taken advantage of by Action Appliance. We had a washer that needed a new pump and they came and diagnosed the problem, and charged $163.73 to do so. They then gave me an estimate of $800 additional (or $650 if I helped them lift the washer). This was clearly too high and felt it was in bad faith. They clearly didn’t want the job but wanted to keep the deposit for the house call. I called another vendor, Total Fix-it-Pro who did the job same day for less than $300 including parts and house call with no assistance from me (see attached). I feel ripped off by Action Appliance. I’ve attached the estimate from the other vendor.
