Purchased a Cafe microwave and inquired about a matching dishwasher. Purchased the microwave and put the dishwasher on a “refundable”paid hold via Venmo as their credit card machine was not working that day. Called a day later to tell them I would not be interested in purchasing the dishwasher after all. Was told that my Venmo purchase would be refunded. Several days went by without a refund. I called every few days to ask that my hold be refunded and was given multiple excuses. Finally, after several phone calls to both the store and the person I Venmoed, I was refunded with a fee of 3%. Very frustrating and a bit shady.
