Robbie Rea and his team had given us not only a fair price on our purchased appliances but provided us with excellent customer service. When a road paving crew stop our appliance delivery, a call to Robbie and he made adjustments in their delivery schedule. My wife was thrilled to have the new refrigerator in time for the Memorial Day weekend. Great customer service!

Refrigerator died this morning after several years of use. (Bought the original one from ACE.) Texted them the issue with what we wanted and the dimensions of the old fridge. By 4:00 same day, the new Refrigerator was up and running. The installers were excellent and knew their business! 20+years of business with ACE Maytag. Always treated well!

We needed a new washing machine and decided to try Ace The gentleman who helped us was knowledgeable and patient with us while we made our decision. The washer was delivered today as promised. The delivery crew was very polite and did not leave a mess. We have always done business with another major supplier in town but will now use Ace!!!

If you enjoy paying $150 for creative fiction, Ace Maytag may be the place for you. I called about our 5-year-old Whirlpool dishwasher that wasn’t drying and had developed an odor. I requested a courtesy call before arrival. I was later informed the technician had “stopped by” and no one answered the door so he left a note in our mailbox — interesting, since the doorbell never rang and our two dogs (who consider falling leaves a threat) never made a sound. And no phone call to let me know he was on his way. When technician Austin returned the next day, he ran diagnostics and confidently declared the control board was bad. He had no explanation for the odor. Austin never pulled out the dishwasher to inspect it, although he did look under the sink and stated that everything looked correct. A few days later, Austin called to say the control board had arrived. He also stated that he had personally contacted Whirlpool to ask about the odor issue and was told to run several cycles using two Affresh tablets each time. He later dropped off a package of six Affresh tablets. I ran three cycles, but the odor remained. Note that there was never any standing water inside the dishwasher at any time. When that didn’t work, the next suspect was the drain pump. At that point, we began considering replacing the dishwasher. Austin mentioned that he “thought” a portion of the $150 service charge might be applied toward a purchase in their showroom and encouraged us to look at their scratch-and-dent selection. How convenient. We decided to get a second opinion from a different company. That technician did something revolutionary: he pulled the dishwasher out to inspect and test it and looked under the sink. Turns out the drain hose was improperly positioned — the actual cause of the odor — and the heating element needed replacement. No bad control board. No bad pump. Total cost was under $125, including the service call! Dishwasher now works perfectly. Amazing what happens when someone actually looks at the appliance. Very disappointing experience and an expensive lesson in why second opinions matter.

So glad we went there after looking at Lowe's and online for a new stove. It got overwhelming at Lowe's. I told the salesman what I was looking and he showed me 3 different options that fit with different prices. Easy sales process and the warranty goes straight through them which I loved. Will go again when other appliances are needed.
