ABW Appliances Showroom: Pikesville (Formerly Cummins Appliance)

I am very happy with the appliances I purchased, however I'm not happy with the process it took to get it installed and it cost me almost three times the actual cost of the purchase. The Samsung Hood vent was $269.10, the Cooktop was $453.33 for a total of $722.43. My total balance was $1954.88 a diffrence of $1232.45. This included $380.00 for the install of the Cooktop and Hood. $35.00 for a 6' gas line install, and $200 for wood to support the cooktop which was smaller than the one replaced. $92.00 for haul away of old cooktop and hood. BUT THE KICKER is the cost of the stainless steel filler ring $500.00. more than the cost of the Cooktop. #1 there's no way in HELL the wood cost $200.00 (price gouging) and it was only 4 small strips of wood used to support the cooktop, #2 the filler ring hides where the open space is from the old cooktop again ( price gouging). the filler ring should have been much cheaper than $500.The entire process took 2 weeks to complete and to date the filler ring has not been installed yet. I would like to purchase 2 other appliances from ABW but I've become very leary as to the cost and process to have it installed. I understand the cost of things have rised substantially, and even tarrif cost may have been included but not for merchandise that have already been shipped here. I let my salesperson know that I was very unhappy with the total cost and process used to get these appliances purchase and installed.

The appliance tech, Omari, came out to replace the top of my new Electrolux washer. I thought he would have to pull the washer out to replace the top. This tech was so professional, efficient, and focused in replacing the top of the washer. He was able to reach in the back of the washer to unscrew the screws to the top of the washer. I couldn’t believe he was able to reach in the back of the washer without a ladder or foot stool, but tall enough he could reach in the back of the washer easily reaching the screws. Omari is an asset to the appliance company he works for. He was professional, respectful and knowledgeable about what had to be done. I was amazed on how fast he completed the job which only took him 5 minutes! He took away the old top and box that the new top came in and when leaving said, have a nice day! What a great experience to have with such a professional tech as Omari. He is the BEST!

Great experience with senior technician (Pedro) and his assistant - both extremely polite and professional. Really appreciate Pedro's ability to systematically diagnose the problem and restore range hood to working order. My wife will be especially thrilled to have lights on the backsplash once again and be able to view the silhouette of our children against the night sky. As we say in the military "Well done" !

Extraordinary service by Omari. His knowledge, efficiency and expertise are top notch. In addition, the thoughtfulness towards the homeowner starting from wearing protective booties, very neat and organized during his service definitely qualifies for a complete VIP service. Great smile and good disposition were the extra bonuses and very much appreciated. I hope ABW values Omari as much.

ABW Appliance is such a great place to do business. Back in January, I purchased a new refrigerator. last week I returned to purchase a new dryer. Kyle helped me both times to select the best Appliances for our needs. What a great guy! The delivery was also a great experience. The guys that came both times We’re very courteous and careful.
