🚩Buyer Beware 🚩 I submitted a request for washer/dryer to service through Fontana Lane village (luxury)👎 townhomes as it appears Charles City appliances are the contractors property 1/6/26 I received a call from a young lady representing charm City appliances to schedule appointment for the technician to come to my home she spoke very fluent English Baltimore swag 1/7/26 I received a phone call asst. manager to tell me that there's nothing wrong with the dryer how can you state that no one's been here to inspect the washer/dryer she stated that she had the technician in her office from Charm City appliances which DONOT speak NO English she had to translate for him to communicate with me over the phone of the appliance defects washer/dryer my service request consists of the lint is not collecting properly in the lint screen collector of the body of the dryer on the door there's two opening gaps where the lint collects it should be a screen there and if not with that model the holes that's at the bottom should completely cover the lint screen collector so all the lent from the clothes can go directly into the lent collector dryer door was collecting the lint where I had to pull a lint out to order to have the dryer work the dryer don't get hot one day it took me 6 hours to dry one load of clothes I didn't realize lint was accumulating in the dryer door in the washer the washing blade do not work do not clean the clothes properly the assistant manager translated to technician from Charm City appliance she stated to me that the technician that I was not having that problem washer/dryer I said how can you make that call and he hasn't even inspected it she told me that she wasn't sending him to my home because there was nothing wrong with washer/Dryer thanks to the English barrier in an incompetent technician that they sent out Charm City appliance had the assistant manager getting smart with me over the phone she started getting smart and getting loud I had to hang the phone up I refuse engage with her stupidity and disrespect over a old washer/dryer the I only been using for 4 1/2 mo. total ridiculous experience rental office and technician from Charm City appliance that can't speak NO English and I'm not even seen the washer/ dryer next I get a call the manager a Fontana Lane village townhomes and she asked is it possible for her to send a technician to my home inspect washer/dryer she was also sending the maintenance guy from this property where I reside to translate for the technician representing Charm City appliances they came to my home the both of them told me that's what it's supposed to do I say soda Lynn supposed to get in my hair on my clothes that I'm wearing in my face and I also stated to him that's not how it's supposed to work my grandfather used to own a laundromat mind you the night before I was taking some clothes out the dryer the lint from the dryer fell directly in my eyes which overnight my eyes was irritated blurry vision went to the eye doctor1/15/26 I do have my medical records the technician from Charm City appliances maintenance maintenance man from Fontana Lane village kept looking at that phones trying to figure out whatever they was figuring outspeaking in their language they stated that they will be back in touch with me and to replace it I haven't heard anything call customer service in Charm City appliance that's Baltimore handle title Charm City stop tarnishing the city name the technicians Do Not speak No English more or less how to fix appliances 👎👎👎👎👎

I have used Charm City 2 times for issues with my dryer and dishwasher. Each time I was told by an independent tech that the problem can’t be fixed and I should buy new equipment. Each time I called Charm City and a tech was sent in a reasonable time, the issue was identified, a part was ordered and within a week the issue was fixed. Each Tech were courteous and empathetic to the stress the broken equipment cause a woman who works out of the home. My work schedules was respected and the techs came in a timely manner when I did not have to leave work. I commend and I appreciate Charm City repair and this company is my go to repair my appliances.

They are the worst place to buy used appliances. They are helpful in picking out the item, but the delivery is horrible. The item worked for 4 days and went up. They damaged my kitchen floor and scratched my stove, installing the refrigerator. I would never go to them ever again. They are now moving because that location has a bad reputation for not good service or items. BAD

I was driving to work and a person driving a charm city appliances truck nearly ran me off the road. As you can imagine, I was quite alarmed. I couldn't believe a person driving a business truck would be driving so reckless, especially while driving a truck with advertising for a business. It was blatant negligence for safety of people on the road, and if they would handle driving in that manner (with the business information plastered on the side of the truck), I cant image how they would handle business practices. Their yelp review so far seems to reflect my exact review. I sure hope no ones appliances were being transported, that would be definitely un cool. For a moment, I thought the driver then proceeded to follow me - i wasnt concerned as I was driving to my place of employment - the police station.
