We purchased a dishwasher from Toronjo Appliances in September 2025 with a three-month warranty. The first unit failed in November 2025. A replacement was provided in January 2026, but the new unit developed the same issue within a few weeks.
Despite multiple emails and phone calls, the issue was not resolved. The company also attempted to charge us for additional service, even though the defect had already been reported under warranty.
To avoid further disruption for our tenants, we had to purchase a new dishwasher at our own expense. A formal complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
We later found other companies, such as APPLIANCES 4 LESS, that appear to offer new appliances with minor cosmetics defects, a one-year warranty, and competitive pricing, sometimes at similar or lower prices.
We are sharing this experience to help other consumers avoid similar issues. The company remains polite but continues to provide the same responses without resolving the problem.
Update:
Following the owner’s response, I would like to clarify that the BBB case was closed for administrative reasons due to a missed deadline for providing additional information, and not because the issue was actually resolved.
I also want to clarify that my experience is not isolated, as other customers have reported similar situations in their reviews.
As the issue was still not resolved, I eventually had to purchase a new dishwasher from Appliances 4 Less, and I do not regret that decision ( good warranty , good price, good product and good customer service).
