I’m a single mom and my dishwasher and oven went out at the same time- Jersey coast ordered the parts I needed to fix both ! The workers knew exactly what I needed and helped me and saved me a ton of money! While I was driving home today I saw a jersey coast van pull over to help an older gentleman man - I called the shop and they told me his name was Dennis! It was really nice to see there are good people out there that will stop without thinking twice to help less fortunate people! Great job Dennis- you made my day!

I contacted Jersey Coast Appliance to repair my washing machine. I live up north and this is our summer home. I drove 1.5 hours (3 hrs round trip) to meet them. They diagnosed the issue and ordered the part. Once the part came in I set my appointment for ~2-3 weeks out. Drove back down 1.5 hours (3 hours roundtrip) to meet them. The repairman opened the box and the part was broken in pieces in the box. I told him I drove all the way down just for this, and he suggested we use part of my old part and part of the new to cobble together a workable piece - which I said definitely no. He said he isn’t responsible for parts, call the office. I called the office where the woman there said nothing to do but order a new part and reschedule. When I said why wouldn’t anyone open the box and check the part during 3 weeks to ensure all was ready to repair, she shucked responsibility and said, that’s not my job that’s parts. They are back Mon. Totally unbelievable that a repair company provided through Maytag’s site takes 50% of your money down and then not only doesn’t complete the job in a timely and professional manner, but passes responsibility from one employee to the next. A simple washing machine drain pump replacement is now requiring at least 3 visits, a min 9 hours of driving plus waiting for repair services, and it is still not fixed. Now we are pending reordering of another replacement part, another 3 hour trip to meet the service man and who knows what additional issues.
