Charlotte Appliance

We are very pleased with our recent purchase of a stove and refrigerator from Charlotte. Our salesperson, Anthony Jr., was knowledgeable, friendly,, and attentive to our needs. We were especially concerned because we were replacing some build-in units, and site modifications would be needed. These were handled expertly by Rob, so that the stove and fridge would slide in perfectly. Mike and Rick made the delivery and installation. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous, and politely answered all our questions. We were in good hands from start to finish!

Buyers beware- Do Not Buy from Charlotte AppliancesI bought a $10,000 refrigerator from Charlotte Appliances in Rochester, NY, based on the promise of a brand-new, in-box unit. They delivered a used floor model that buzzes. They initially agreed to take it back, but then raised the pickup fee from $250 to $1,500. When I refused to accept the changed terms, they reversed course entirely: they will not take it back, will not service it, and will not discuss the matter further. “Sales final.”They made 100% profit while I am stuck with a used refrigerator at full new price. They price-matched Home Depot and acted like they were doing me a favor. There is no satisfaction guarantee and no return policy of any kind.They even attempted to blame our contractor rather than take responsibility for what they sold us.I have filed a complaint with the NYS Attorney General’s office. This is not how a reputable business — family-owned or otherwise — operates. I will never buy from Charlotte Appliances again and I strongly urge others to shop at Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Ferguson instead. At least those companies actually stand behind their products. IS it really worth it to take the risk with a 'small thinking business" to pay more typically and to get no satisfaction or service?? Update: Still unresolved as of this posting.

I just love Charlotte Appliance! I bought all my appliances there 12 years ago. I bought a bed there 8 years ago. I still LOVE my bed!! People there are friendly and very helpful. Gina sold me my bed and had a lot of patience with my indecisiveness. But my appliance guy Andrew, he's the man! Very helpful and knowledgeable. After 12 years, I had a new washer and dryer delivered today. The delivery guys, Mike and Rick did a great job! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was connected correctly and safe to use. Thanks guys!!! You are the best! I highly recommend Charlotte Appliance for all you furniture and appliance needs. From showroom to delivery, you won't be disappointed! Thanks everyone!!!

Can't complain! They have been among the top places to buy appliances in Rochester for a reason. Rich A. was super helpful throughout my process of getting an induction oven from start to finish. The transaction process was an ease and the delivery was as well! Mike and Rich were very detail-oriented and made sure that the oven was installed and leveled correctly. I'm looking forward to buying my next appliance with them in the future!

Mike and Rick delivered and installed our new washer today. They were prompt, delivering within the 2 hour window they had told us. Both were very personable, efficient and conscious of keeping things clean. Great experience. Michelle, in sales, was also excellent. We need a smaller size and she was great at researching and recommending.
