American Freight Furniture & Mattress

Was lied to initially and offered a 'discount' of $50, until I showed a photo I took showing the loveseat on the floor was the same one that was $150 less the week prior. Got my order delivered and it was the wrong table, which they did correct, but the loveseat was the one from the floor not new in the box as I had been told I would get, and it came with 2 right armrests instead of one of each. The delivery person spoke with the manager and told him the situation and how the arm itself was not only wrong but defective and he had to manipulate it to stay on. Instead of fixing it they did not follow up and then did not answer the phone when open and did not return calls when messages were left until I gave up. I have a crooked misfit arm on my loveseat and am at this point not ever going here again and warning everyone I know that sometimes you do get the service you pay for unfortunately. The price was right if you get lucky enough to not have an issue.

Wonderful experience. The new crew and management was amazing. Very helpful but not pushy to make you purchase. Always around if you need help but not hovering over you which i like. Very truthful about products. I stopped shopping here because of past management and workers. I figured i would give the new management and crew another chance and i couldnt be happier. Thank you all so much for making my shopping experience so much better than before. I will now continue to come back and shop!

Ya know, human beings are not really built to remember names: were built to recognize faces. With that being said, the man (Jim! Jim is his name. Ya know how I know? I went back. I needed to know. And obviously it was the proprietor that responded to my comment which is fine. Perhaps Jim could, or should even, be directly involved in reviews in that he can assess his own performance and make adjustments as needed, if needed. I don't know, I just hope Jim can get an $1 more an hour because he's worth at least $5 an hour more. I certainly look forward to your further reply to my response, sir) I spoke with at the store whose face I cannot describe, really shocked me to the extent that he spoke honestly about the furniture market, was inordinately helpful in finding furniture that fit our budget and the prices at his store are probably the best in the Pittsburgh area for brand new furniture. You have to give this place a try as I doubt they will let you down.
