Bridgeville Appliance

Scott was great to work with as far as the buying process. However, when we received our new GE refrigerator, it was defective right out of the box. Instead of ordering me a new refrigerator they sent a repairman out to replace a circuit board which I thought was very, very wrong. I believe they should have ordered me another refrigerator and taken this one back and sold it on macbid or something. After they repaired it, I should not have had this experience on a brand new appliance.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are for since I can't recommend the team at Bridgeville Appliance enough. My family has been going here for years and have referred lots of folks here too and I've personally never heard of one true "issue" due to the service provided. I stopped in and talked with Patrick, he was very friendly, helpful and informative. Patrick then followed up via email and I did a little research on the appliances. We got them ordered and the delivery team was right on time and super friendly. 10/10, wouldn't go anywhere else for appliances.

We bought an under counter ice maker from Bridgeville Appliance (along with a Monogram range, dishwasher, beverage cooler, microwave, Monogram refrigerator/freezer, washer and dryer). When you spend thousands and thousands of dollars on appliances at a store, you would think that the business would appreciate it and try to assist you if issues arose. Not Bridgeville Appliance. We bought extended warranties from Bridgeville since they told us the extended warranty is better than the manufacturer's warranty and Bridgeville will repair them - not some other company. Ice maker broke in early August - needed a cutting grid. We called Bridgeville to get it repaired and they told us that they do not repair that brand of ice maker - when we were told at purchase that they repaired everything in house. Since they couldn't repair it, they outsourced it to another company. The warranty company that Bridgeville Appliance sold us is still investigating the claim. I was so furious at what Bridgeville Appliance sold us that I private paid over $600 to get the ice maker fixed. It is 3 months later and the warranty company is still investigating. I contacted Bridgeville Appliance and they told me it was a service issue and the owner or manager were notified. A month later and nothing from the owner. Nothing from the manager. There are a lot of companies out there that sell higher end appliances. Companies that would appreciate your business. Go to one of them. Bridgeville Appliance loved the money when they sold me the product, but did not stand behind ANYTHING. NOTHING... Go to a company that cares. Bridgeville Appliance DOES NOT.

Bought a GE dishwasher from Dormont Appliance. Had a problem with the water draining from the filter cup. So had to call Bridgeville appliance for service because Dormont Appliance uses their service department. Larry came out looked at it and told me my garbage disposal was clogged. You have to get a plumber. Water was not backing up in my sink or dishwasher how could that be. So i was told to call Bridgeville appliance again. The guy at the service department told me to call the support service at GE. They were very responsive and scheduled an appointment for me the next day. Jarrrit from Affordable Appliance came out and knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it in no time. Thanks Affordable Appliance.
