I’ve been into Ferguson Home multiple times now, and unfortunately the experience is consistently the same. This visit was for something straightforward, door pulls and hardware for all of our new interior doors. You’d think that would be an easy win.
Instead, the staff managed to be impressively unhelpful. No one offered assistance, no acknowledgment, nothing. My wife even tried to stop a staff member to ask for help, and the response was unreal…she didn’t even slow down, just mumbled something and kept walking. That pretty much sums up the vibe.
To be fair, the selection is great. But the atmosphere is incredibly pretentious, like customers are an inconvenience (unless you pull up in a Range Rover maybe?) rather than the reason the place exists. If you enjoy feeling ignored while shopping in a showroom that takes itself way too seriously, this is your spot. Otherwise, be prepared for poor customer service wrapped in polished displays.
The kicker? You can find the same selection online and get better customer service to boot. That makes this place not just disappointing, but completely unnecessary outside of seeing inventory in person.
