Guaranteed Appliances And Repair - Johnson City

After purchasing 2 fridges, everything seemed fine. The 1 fridge works well. It was brand new. The second one started gushing water on the inside ( 1/2") in 2 hours on the bottom is a lot. When I purchased it, there was no water. The reason for the 1 star is cause they don't return phone calls, don't honor their 90 warranty, and dont answer their phones ( with multiple people there) when you call to get ahold of someone. All this within 3 days. **Edit.... manager called me back and rectified the situation. I will say at least he does care about the customers. For fixing the situation, he gets 5 stars. The problem he has is the problem we all have...finding people that care enough to do their job.

Got our stacker 10/24/2025. Within the first 3 days it quit running mid cycle and we would constantly restart it. Lots of wasted water. We called and called and left a message for the repair man and he NEVER answered. Now my drum has torn away from where it sits just outside the warranty window which would still be useless because they never answered the countless problems I’ve had. We are a family of 6 and we wasted hundreds of dollars here. I’m so incredibly disappointed with this place.

Last year we needed to replace our 4 year old refrigerator and also our secondary frig. We could not afford new ones. This how we found Guaranteed Appliances in Johnson City. We went in and met with John and he had exactly what we needed. John made us a great deal on two refrigerators and both are still doing great. The customer service was unbelievable, as a matter of fact you really don’t see such great service anymore. We were treated like we bought the best of the best when in fact we bought two refurbished refrigerators. After such a great experience we had a problem with our stack washer and dryer. I contacted Guaranteed Appliance repair service and asked if they could help us with a repair (for an appliance we did not buy from them). They said of course they could help. Long story short the appliance was unrepairable. So we paid for the service call and then had to figure out what to do. We went back to Guaranteed Appliance and met with John again. He really stepped up and helped us with another great deal and another great customer experience on a new to us stack washer and dryer. It was delivered quickly, and by the way Guaranteed Appliances delivery service (specifically Josh) is fantastic. These guys are very polite and professional and are very careful in side the home. Unfortunately we had an issue with the appliance so we were put in contact with Sarah who takes care of scheduling repairs. This was handled quickly and the repair person responded quickly. The repair service needed to order a part and it came in two days later and they came back immediately after the part arrived. Unfortunately this did not fix the problem, but instead of making excuses (like a lot of big box stores do) I was called by John at the Johnson City store and another machine was delivered the next day and it works perfectly. Guaranteed Appliance is a great place to do business with and I will always go to them in the future if I need their services. These folks are great and you just don’t see customer service like this anywhere anymore.
