C&M Appliances

When I shop at this store, I know the products are refurbished, so my expectations are not the same as if I made the purchase at a box store. That being said, I’ve bought two washers and a dryer and a refrigerator. First the customer service was better than box store customer service. The owner actually has product knowledge. Unfortunately, my washing machine stopped working after a month. I texted the company who asked me to describe the problem. 1 hour later the young man came to my house and looked at the problem ( old water pump from 2017) (unrelated to any work the company may have done). 20 minutes later, the washer was repaired and the repairman stayed to run a cycle. The machine works fine. I paid nothing for the repairman to come out and do the work. I wanted to give him cash but I only had plastic, so I gave him all the cold water he wanted. C&M is a solid refurbished appliance small business. In the future, if I need another appliance, I’ll stop by there before I stop at a box store.

Stay away from this place. I called them a week ago because my dryer went out. A dryer that I had just purchased from them not even a month ago. When I called Tuesday the 2nd A women took my information and I was told someone would give me a call back the following day or possibly that day. So I waited and gave them and extra day but still no one called us back. So Saturday my husband called and was told they would call him back later that day and try and get someone out that night. No one ever called or came. So we called again Sunday to 2 different numbers. One number said to text if needed immediate help. So I texted and still no response. We called again today from my husbands phone to both numbers and still no answer or call back. So now We are out $600 and more since we will have to find someone to come out and fix it. If this place could get a 0 star I would give it. People are struggling as it is and to sell someone appliances that don’t work is criminal.

Save your time/ money! For any repairs, either take it to them or go somewhere else. This business has horrible communication skills. I called to ask if they do at home checks/ repairs. They said yes, and they were charging $35. I scheduled for them to come later that week at 3 PM. The day of I called them in the morning to confirm. They said, yes we’ll be there. Later on around 3:40pm they were a no show. I called to confirm if there were still coming, if not that’s fine I’ll continue with my day. They said yes, give us 15min. Two hours later still nothing, not even a call. I live less than 3 minutes from this place. I went to Airline Appliances instead, They charged $25 for checks, and my dryer is working again.

10.28.2018 We took our washer here because we were told it’s going to be fixed within the week he’ll have it ready if sooner he would call me but never called me. By the weekend we went back to see what’s going on if they found the part or at least tell us something. But he still kept making excuses and stored our washer all the way to the back with the rest of the other appliances he hasn’t fixed and he never checked our washer and nothing but excuses. We left it there almost 3 weeks and he didn’t check it at all and didn’t have the balls to tells us what was wrong with it. We went across and this other person told us it’s the product that it needs there’s no more. So if the other person instead of going around when he asked him he should of said straight forward than forcing us to buy something when he won’t communicate the right way.. Worst service ever!!! Ps. They live all customer things outside because when we got our washer back it was not taken care off. We even had warranty and didn’t help us. These people are huge liars..
