⭐☆☆☆☆ If I could give this company zero stars, I would.(DETAILED REVIEW IN PHOTOS)!!!
I chose this company because of the positive Facebook Marketplace reviews. At first, everything went smoothly, but once I signed the lease, it felt like my concerns no longer mattered.
As a single mother of four, I depended on this company to provide working appliances. Instead, I received a washer without the required water hoses, a dryer that wasn’t even ready to use because the power cord had to be replaced, and a refrigerator without a water line. The delivery driver handed me the replacement dryer cord and told me to install it myself. I also had to buy tools, a dryer vent, and washer hoses out of my own pocket just to use appliances I was already paying to lease.
A few hours later, I realized the refrigerator didn’t cool and the freezer didn’t freeze. It was completely broken. Even though my lease included a one-year warranty, I was told they wouldn’t send a technician or pick up the refrigerator because I lived too far away. Instead, they expected me to rent a truck, move it myself, and return it to their store. After weeks of phone calls and living without a working refrigerator, I was suddenly told they could deliver another one—for an additional $174. After I explained I couldn’t afford to pay to replace a refrigerator they delivered broken, they finally agreed to exchange it when they were already coming to my area.
When the replacement arrived, the driver refused to bring it into my house, claiming it wouldn’t fit, even though it was essentially the same size refrigerator that had already been in my kitchen. When I called the company, I was asked, “Don’t you think you’re asking for a little too much?” The driver left it in my garage, and my sister and I had to move it ourselves. Ironically, it fit perfectly.
Then came the worst part. When we opened the replacement refrigerator, it was infested with thousands of maggots inside the refrigerator, freezer, door seals, trim, and hidden crevices. The smell was unbearable, and it was obvious it had never been properly cleaned before being delivered. My sister and I spent hours taking it apart to remove maggots, insect remains, and filth before it was even remotely usable. The photos speak for themselves.
By the end of this experience, I had spent my own money on parts and tools, gone weeks without refrigeration, been expected to transport a broken appliance myself despite paying for a warranty, been quoted another $174 for a replacement, been told I was “asking for too much,” and finally received a refrigerator infested with maggots.
I felt taken advantage of, ignored, and abandoned after signing the lease. Mistakes happen, but a company’s response is what matters. In my experience, this company consistently shifted the burden, expense, and stress onto the customer instead of taking responsibility. I strongly encourage anyone considering renting appliances from them to look elsewhere. I sincerely hope no other family has to experience what mine did.
