I really appreciate the super friendly, helpful, and ethical staff here. I called this morning to see if we could drop our vacuum off. The person who answered was very friendly (and I appreciated that it was an actual human and not some AI bot system.) My wife brought it over this afternoon and we assumed we would leave it there and have them take a look at it when they get a chance. However, the person there was kind enough to show her the problem and a simple fix we weren't aware of. We will be shopping for our next purchase at this store from now on and have all repairs and maintenance done here as well. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend House of Vacuums for their selection of vacuums and friendly customer service. Matt was able to replace my Electrolux vacuum hose in less than a week. And while I was there I bought a Simplicity vacuum that filled my needs of a dust buster hand vacuum AND floor sweeper! Visiting their store was a stroke of luck as I hate to order off the internet.Thanks Matt!

I live in a log home and I have a mix of wood floors, area rugs, and thick carpet. My previous vacuum was a Kirby, that lasted me 37 years! I was skeptical that any other vacuum could follow that act. I have to drive almost 2 hours to get to the House of Vacs in Lynchburg, VA. The owner of that business, Matt Douglas, runs a family owned business with his wife and father and he’s down to earth and easy to talk to. We spoke several times and he answered all my questions, some before I even asked. I ended up buying the Sebo airbelt 3E canister vacuum. The same machine Matt uses in his own home with a dog and 4 small children. With the help of an adapter, I was able to use my favorite Kirby attachments with my new Sebo, as well as the great selection of attachments that came with my Sebo. The more I use it, the more I like it. At my age, I don’t need it to last another 37 years, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.

My wife and I were in need for a vacuum for our first house together. I had always gone to big department stores to purchase whatever brand was on sale - even though I have gone through too many vacuums to count. She recommend us to check out House of Vacuums to see what they offered and my mind became wide opened with regards to the world of vacuums. The owner Matt was extremely knowledgeable and spent over an hour educating us (mostly me) on the various vacuums at the shop and we ended up purchasing a Sebo vacuum and we can't be more excited about it. If you are looking for a store with an amazing, caring and knowledgeable owner who will help understand your needs and will give you the information needed to help you make the best decision for your vacuum needs, this is the place. I'll never look at the cheap vacuums on sale at the big stores the same way again. Thank you Matt and House of Vacuums. And side note - love the anti-microbial microfiber cloth.
