Wiseman Appliance LLC

We left our freezer door slightly ajar....for five days while gone camping. We had to toss the food, of course, but also were concerned we might have damaged the internal mechanism (condenser or whatever). Went to Wiseman's and explained the situation to Amber. She said, hold on, are you sure you need to buy a new freezer and gave us a referral to a local repairman. Turns out the freezer still works (we shut it down, cleaned it, turned it back on with a jug of water in there, waited 24 hours and voila, freezer is OK. Amber saved us a lot of money. Eventually we will have to replace the freezer or another appliance. Our first stop will be Wiseman's. (She also has an office mascot, a wonderful dog she rescued from a shelter.)

We inquired on the Ring app about trusted local appliance repairmen. We were overwhelmingly recommended to Wiseman but I didn’t even know they did repairs. I called Teak and roughly described our situation. A few days later we had a just like new running fridge that hopefully will last another 5 years. When it does come time to start replacing appliances we will for sure be visiting Wiseman based off of this experience 👍

Wiseman Appliance is that mythical hometown store that actually exists. About 20 years ago I bought kitchen and laundry appliances from them, and now 20 years later, still same great service. Amber was friendly toggling through options that might be a good fit and found one on sale all the while being patient with a computer that was having a slow day. She also adjusted delivery for an option that worked with my schedule and maintained great communication the whole way through the process. Joseph and Devon were really careful bringing the new washer in and old one out up and down two flights of stairs, clearly they know what they were doing. There was a little extra finagling to fit the bigger washer into a tight space, but they made it work, install was smooth and quick and they ran a test cycle to be sure everything was in order.

Teak Wiseman was able to troubleshoot my washer that both my husband and brother-in-law were not able to adequately fix. He narrowed it down to a few select things, work efficiently, and was able to fix my washer with minimal repair and parts. He didn’t try to start big or upsell me on any big fixes. Kind, respectful, efficient, and got it done. I’ve never been more excited to do laundry in my whole life!

Exceptional service, with flawless delivery and installation, but it's the post-purchase care that exceeded my expectations. When I encountered an issue (that I caused), Amber went above and beyond to help me, demonstrating the kind of customer care you simply can't find at larger chains. Having said that, I also got a better deal than at a large chain.
